Higonokami is the most famous small knife in Japan. Now Higonokami is famous for outdoor knife all over the world. Because Higonokami is light weight, simple design, durableness, various colors and blade lengths, Japanese high quality steel for knife and best price.

Higonokami is a Japanese traditional knife which is a registered trademark and only manufactured in Nagao Kanekoma factory in Miki city,Hyogo prefecture,Japan.Miki city has a long history of making knives and carpentry tools.

The reason why it's called 肥後守 Higonokami is that they had a lot of customers who bought that knife in Kumamoto prefecture which is located in 肥後 Higo area. And 守 kami, that letter means, charm, defense, guard, director, work etc.

After they started crafting Higonokami, most of kids had them for shaving pencils, bamboo and such.In 2017,Higonokami knives are still manufactured in Nagao Kanekoma factory for many collectors and wood crafting. And the main blacksmith is Mitsuo Nagao who is the 5th generation craftsman.

Rules of Knife Safety
1. Always ensure that no one is with arms reach of you when you are using your knife.
2. Always cut away from yourself.
3. When performing finer work, try to get a thumb on the spine (back) of the blade.
4. Do not touch or move the knife toward anything you’re not willing to cut.
5. Keep the blade closed or sheathed until ready to cut.

* Small marks and scratches are normal with all Higonokami.
* Non stainless steel chef, kitchen & folding knives require a small amount of care to prevent surface rust. Even though this can easily be removed if it does occur, we recommend you hand wash and thoroughly dry after each use, do not use a dishwasher. For extended storage, coat in some oil.

For The Seasoned Project Manager and the Beginner
Format: Kindle, Format: Kindle
It takes a talented writer to write for the expert and the beginner in the same book. But that is how Mr. Hayden writes in this book. It is obvious he is an experienced Project Manager, and he not only gives advice, but gives you an overview of project management in general, and the foundations of it. But then he jumps right into the meat of the matter - and lays out so many ways to start the project, including so many methodologies to use. He includes the SWOT method, that I used with my teams, but there are so many more that I could have used! I love the way he lays out a plan for you to use - he doesn’t just give you ideas, he lays it out in a way that you can implement it successfully, and more importantly, confidently. That is so important when leading a team! I highly recommend this book to any level of project manager! And not just those in a project manager position - also for those professionals who are leading a project even though they are in other roles in their company.

A helpful guide from start to finish
Format: Kindle, Format: Kindle
I like how user-friendly this book is! Anyone that is in a leadership position can learn a lot from this book. Anyone in charge of heading up a specific project will really benefit from this book’s teachings. There are a ton of visual charts, diagrams, and illustrations throughout the book with relevant examples to help you navigate your plan. The book starts out with the planning phase of the project and walks you through how to implement goals, how to stay on track when changes come up, how to close out projects in phases, and so much more! Also noteworthy is the helpful summary at the end of each chapter making this a resource you can quickly come back to and reference as you take on your project!

Scrum Masters might not agree
Format: Kindle
You'll recognize much of the content, in line and in harmony with the PMBOK. Lots of descriptions with bullet points for tools and techniques useful to the project manager. Very happy to see the Reference section with working links for further study. Would recommend as a textbook, but 1) the treatment of Agile and 2) the artificial "versus" of Kanban vs Scrum is a bit unfair, and the latter is rarely true. Kanban makes the process visible; Scrum makes it hum. Despite what the author says in the Other Methodologies section: * Scrum masters are not project managers * The Scrum master does not "manage" the team; the team is self-managing and self-organizing * Scrum masters do not supervise anything. They are knowledgeable facilitators and obstacle removers. An index would be helpful and would add to the overall value as a reference book.

This a an excellent comprehensive text that would be an asset to any project manager.
Format: Kindle
This is the best project management book I have read in many years. It is structured in a comprehensive and clear format that allows the reader to follow the author. The author has also provided clarity on different methods of project management that can be used to manage a variety of projects with examples of how each method can be applied. In addition to the knowledge of project management and excellent examples of how each method can be applied the author has provided keynotes to other references a reader can seek out for additional reading. This is an excellent text that I wish had been available to me years ago. 👍🏻
