Dieser drehbare Kompostbehälter 50 L von D.F. Omer ist ein kompakter Trommelkomposter mit einem Fassungsvermögen von 50 Litern, der dafür ausgelegt ist, Ihre Küchen- und Gartenabfälle effizient zu verwerten. Dank der drehbaren Bauweise können Sie den Inhalt bequem durchmischen, ohne umschaufeln zu müssen. Die Komposttonne besteht aus UV-beständigem Kunststoff und verfügt über einfache Schiebetüren für den Zugang.

Um den Kompostbehälter zu nutzen, füllen Sie ihn abwechselnd mit „braunem“ Material (wie trockenen Blättern, Zweiglein, Papier) und „grünem“ Material (wie Küchenresten, Gras, Gemüse), um ein gutes Gleichgewicht herzustellen. Schliessen Sie den Deckel und drehen Sie die Trommel regelmässig, damit Sauerstoff zugeführt wird und die Rotte beschleunigt wird. Nach etwa 6 bis 8 Wochen können Sie gebrauchsfertigen Kompost ernten – abhängig von den Bedingungen (Feuchtigkeit, Temperatur und dem richtigen Materialverhältnis). 

Dieser Kompostbehälter trägt zu einer nachhaltigeren Lebensweise bei, da Sie organische Abfälle vor Ort und im Kreislauf verwerten, statt sie über die Abfallentsorgung abfahren zu lassen. Indem Sie Ihren eigenen Kompost herstellen, verringern Sie den Bedarf an Kunstdünger und verbessern auf natürliche Weise die Bodenqualität in Ihrem Garten.
