Die Gepäckbrücke von HEPCO & BECKER ist speziell für die Modelle DR 650 R der Baujahre 1992 bis 1994 entwickelt worden. Diese Konstruktion aus robustem Stahl garantiert eine hohe Belastbarkeit und Sicherheit. Die Gepäckbrücke ist optimal auf die Dimensionen und Anforderungen dieser spezifischen Motorradmodelle abgestimmt und unterstützt sowohl neue als auch ältere Topcase-Modelle von HEPCO & BECKER, mit Ausnahme des Topcase "Orbit" und solcher mit Universalplatte.

Technische Details und Montage

  • Die Montage der Gepäckbrücke erfolgt durch Aufschieben des Topcases auf die Brücke, welches anschließend mit einem Metallschloss gesichert wird.
  • Die empfohlene maximale Zuladung beträgt etwa 5 kg, wobei spezifische Hinweise des Motorrad- und Trägermodells zu beachten sind.
  • Die Kombination mit Seitenkofferträgern oder C-Bow Haltern ist meist problemlos möglich, sofern die Anbauanleitungen beachtet werden.
  • Im Lieferumfang enthalten sind das notwendige Anbaumaterial sowie eine Montageanleitung.
  • Produktqualität MADE IN GERMANY.

Truly terrible product. If you're wanting extreme DIY, aka cleaning it repeatedly, no instructions, and still not impressive quality, this is the item for you. After much time spent trying to remove the nasty oily substance all over the pipes and some sort of weird dirt coming out of the pipes as well, it still hadn't fully come off. When cleaning off the grease, it also took the color off of the item and created a weird, lined look on the pipes, like it was some legit oil rubbed crud on it, instead of paint to look oil rubbed. There is also what appears to be rust on some of the pieces. If someone actually wanted to use the desk and actually bumped into one of the pipes, it would without doubt leave oily residue on clothing. Pictures included of the box without pieces in it as it beautifully captures just how much crud was all over. 100% do not recommend and would give zero stars if it was allowed, but alas.

No boards come with it.

Parts were oily, so you must use gloves or wipe them down. I bought the boards from Lowes, size for the boards were 28" x 40" and 9" x 40", and 3/4" thick. I had to buy 5/8" screws to screw the boards down. Overall, once it was all put together, the desk is very sturdy, simple and gave me options how to set up my computers.

1" fittings and decent quality

Difficult to tell from any description but these are 1" pipes and fittings. You can find this out if you look at product pictures and can see the 1 printed on a fitting or two that is it. I was trying to match existing pipes that were 3/4 inch so disappointed when they arrived. these are decorative as well. Not the same quality as actual black iron pipe you get at any home improvement store. Good enough for shelving and legs on furniture but I definitely would not stand on these or make a chair or stool that is meant to hold someone's weight. Fit and finish about what you would expect cheap and the flanges are threaded crooked like others have stated. Also when they state the sizes and lengths they do not take into account the fittings so everything will be longer slightly.
