Eine seltene Art Nouveau Skarabäus-Brosche von Charles Horner, gefertigt aus Sterlingsilber mit kunstvoll segmentierten, verschiedenfarbig grünen Emaille-Flügeln. Die durchbrochene Silhouette und die geschwungenen Fühler fangen die Bewegung und Anmut dieser Epoche ein, während ein schimmernder grüner Emaille-Bereich den Körper bildet, ergänzt durch einen kleineren grünen Akzent darunter für ein ausgewogenes Gesamtbild.

Feine Aderungen und sanft gewellte Ränder verleihen diesem Stück eine elegante Leichtigkeit, die durch die zarte Alterspatina noch unterstrichen wird. Ausgestattet ist die Brosche mit einem Röhrenscharnier, einem Sicherheitsverschluss mit Verriegelung sowie einer Öse für eine Sicherheitskette. We could have put the arms back, but she figured out those come off, and she would take them out again. The armless rhino is still the one she carries around from room to room, plating tug and fetch with every day. The toy is very well stitched, the fabric is of good quality and there are no small pieces that come apart to be swallowed. It gets dirty from all the playing so I plan to throw it in the wash every month or so.
