EN 13758-2 Schutzeigenschaften gegen ULTRAVIOLETTE Sonnenstrahlung

In der Norm EN 13758-2 sind die Anforderungen an die Kennzeichnung von Bekleidung festgelegt, die zum Schutz des Trägers gegen die Belastung durch ultraviolette Sonnenstrahlung vorgesehen ist. Bekleidung, die gemäß EN 13758-2 genormt ist, schützt den Träger vor der UVA- und UVB-Strahlung des Sonnenlichts. Unter gewissen Bedingungen kann die Schutzwirkung der Bekleidung auch verloren gehen. Zum Beispiel wenn die Bekleidung nass oder abgetragen ist. Daher sollte die Kleidung gemäß den Hinweisen auf der Innenseite gepflegt und behandelt werden.

Ermittelt wird der UV-Schutzfaktor UPF (UPF = Ultra Violet Protection Factor) eines Textils. Der Standard EN 13758 verwendet das Sonnenspektrum von Albuquerque (USA), welches annähernd der Sonneneinstrahlung in Südeuropa entspricht.

Even my boyfriend keeps commenting how much he likes it. It's a usable piece of art! I will comment that the earring holes can be a little tricky since the leaves are turned all different ways. You have to be strategic with how you line up your long/dangle-y earrings with your studs so everybody fits and can be seen. A little tricky. But not a deal breaker - especially when it's so easy on the eye. The other slight negative is that this really isn't the best necklace holder. I would have thought, "No problem!" But it's a bit awkward. Especially if you actually intend to see all your earrings. You'll end up hanging most of your necklaces from the top most branch - but they slide down into the crevice to stay. Then you've got a lot of overlapping. And trickiness to retrieve the exact necklace you want with ease. However, this is still a fabulous earring tree. I can't say enough good things about it. Love the little basket for miscellaneous. Hair bands, lip gloss, etc.

I waited a month for the price to go down (I'm just a cheapskate) and it did. It went from $45 or so, down to $25 or so. So, unless its life or death, be patient and buy it when the price is right. OVERALL? In general, I was pleased with the product. It wasn't my dream jewelry stand, but it was worth my money and the wait.
