'Birthing' wird über Mute und Young God Records veröffentlicht. Die Erstpressungen der Deluxe-Vinyl und CD enthalten eine Bonus-DVD mit Swans Live 2024 (Rope) The Beggar, einem Konzertfilm von Marco Porsia, der die letzte US-Tour der Band dokumentiert. Die DVD enthält außerdem 'I Wonder If I'm Singing What You're Thinking Me To Sing', eine Dokumentation von Christopher Nicholson über Michael Gira's Solotournee 2022.

'Birthing', das durch unerbittliche Improvisation und Live-Performance sowie neu komponierte Studiostücke verfeinert wurde, ist ein Zeugnis von Michael Giras kompromissloser klanglicher Vision. Die Songs, die als akustische Kompositionen begannen, wurden im Studio mit langjährigen Live-Mitgliedern und Kollaborateuren schrittweise erweitert und transformiert.

"Dieses Album, zusammen mit der kürzlich erschienenen Live-Veröffentlichung Live Rope, ist mein letzter Ausflug (als Produzent/Impresario) in die alles verzehrenden Klangwelten, die mich seit Jahren besessen haben. Wir werden in diesem Modus gegen Ende 2025 eine letzte Tournee machen, und das war's dann. Danach wird es mit Swans weitergehen, so lange ich dazu in der Lage bin, allerdings in einer deutlich reduzierten Form. Hinweise auf diese Richtung sind in einigen Momenten auf dem aktuellen Album zu finden. In der Zwischenzeit hoffe ich, dass die Musik eine positive und fruchtbare Atmosphäre bietet, in der man träumen kann." - Michael Gira / Swans

Produziert von Gira, wurde 'Birthing' in der Soundfabrik Berlin aufgenommen, im Candy Bomber Studio von Ingo Krauss gemischt und von Doug Henderson bei Micro-Moose gemastert.

Keeping track of longevity. Had these bulbs for a month and will try and update if they fail. Unfortunately a while ago I hit a cow, seemed to just pop up out of nowhere, the truck was rebuilt and I wanted more/better road lighting. I am using these in a Mack truck for work so they are getting used. I run at least 10 hours a day, 5+ days a week and have at least 11k miles on them since installed. Install is just like a standard bulb no special steps needed. Produce a lot of light and good patterns on high and low beam. So far I really have only had one issue with the bulbs and that is the daylight running light/DRL operation, they don't work I believe the Mack drops the voltage to slightly dim the lights when running in DRL operation and this causes the bulbs to just intermittently flash so I just run with them on all the time. This I don't believe is the bulbs fault and is more an analog vs digital issue. Therefore I'm testing the longevity of the bulbs if my truck is running they are on. Will see how they do as the days get hotter as they are in a small sealed space.

I love this brand because they are plug and Play so I have not experienced any compatibility issues. These feel high quality as I have expected due to past experience with this brand. I much prefer the bright white color of LED versus the yellowish Amber of halogens. I have been using this brand for several years now so I expect a good lifespan from this as I have experienced from other bulbs from this manufacturer. As far as value goes, the increase in visibility installing these is worth every penny and then some.

Easy to install, extremely crisp and bright

My H7 Termitor Headlights are wonderful for my 2014 VW Jetta SE 1.8l turbo. Extremely bright and super easy to install since they have the exact fitting as the factory bulbs. Only thing I would have done differently is to use the adapter to maintain steady light. Whenever I'm in gear or roll the windows up or down I can see the lights dim and after I drive for a while they aren't as bright as when I first started the car. Otherwise they are great, very bright, no warm up time, and clean crisp light. They're even brighter than my factory brights (which I still have installed with the factory bulbs, can't even tell they're on with these!)
