Weiteres Herzstück - verantwortlich für guten Klang - ist der BurrBrown Wandler PCM5122 der aufgrund der Direct Current Output Stages keine weiteren Koppelkondensatoren im Signalpfad erfordert und die Musiksignale dann direkt and die Class-A Ausgangsstufe weiterleiten kann.

Die Evolution Version wurde nun auch mit dem stromsparenden Standby-Modus und einem Trigger-Ausgang ausgestattet.

Diese Komponenten, verpackt in das kompakte 1.5mm Stahlgehäuse mit 4mm Alu-Front sorgen für den gewohnten lebendigen und dynamischen Atoll-Klang! Eben wiedermal: typisch Atoll!

Very sturdy and looks good. But, the part that holds the umbrella is loose and requires a wedge to stop it spinning (I used a plastic knife). Also the screw on the bottom RUSTS and in a BIG way. To solve the rust issue I put an old plastic cutting board under it. We use it with the modifications mentioned.
