Liu ist ein Wegbereiter im globalen Diskurs der modernen und zeitgenössischen Tuschemalerei, ein leidenschaftlicher Verfechter der Modernisierung der chinesischen Malerei und ein wegweisender Innovator, der die moderne Avantgarde in Taiwan maßgeblich prägte. Dieser Band dokumentiert Interviews, die im Jahr 2021 über mehrere Monate hinweg in Taiwan geführt wurden. Darin diskutieren Liu Kuo-sung und Rudy Tseng über die chinesische Malerei, die globale Moderne, Taiwans entscheidende Rolle in diesen Entwicklungen sowie die Lebensgeschichte von Liu Kuo-sung. Das Werk verbindet Kunsttheorie mit persönlichen Beobachtungen eines erfolgreichen Lebens im Zeichen der Kunst, der Lehre und des weltweiten Reisens. Liu Kuo-sung wurde 1932 in China geboren und ließ sich 1949 in Taiwan nieder. 1956 war er Mitbegründer der Fifth Moon Group, einer treibenden Kraft bei der Modernisierung der chinesischen Malerei. Er erhielt zahlreiche Auszeichnungen und hatte weltweit bereits mehr als 130 Einzelausstellungen. Fantastic plates!

These plates were huge--perfect for the Thanksgiving feast. The plates were sturdy and held up to the weight of the food. Even others in attendance commented on how good the plates were and that they were big enough to hold larger portions which meant people didn't have to go back for seconds. The thickness of the plates was good--gravy didn't leak through. I plan to buy them again for future large holiday meals.

Great plates for the holidays and family gatherings!

Strong Enough for BBQ Ribs, Pasta & Everything in Between!

These Dixie Ultra paper plates are truly the heavyweight champs of disposable dinnerware. I grabbed them for a backyard BBQ, expecting the usual paper plate struggle—but these held up like actual dinner plates. We piled on ribs, baked beans, coleslaw, and even mac & cheese, and not a single plate buckled, soaked through, or leaked.
At 11 inches, they’re large enough for full meals (and seconds!), and the cut-resistant coating means no forks poking through. They're also microwave-safe, which is great for leftovers.
