Anlässlich des 200-jährigen Jubiläums des Karlsruher Instituts für Technologie (KIT) wird dessen Geschichte anhand von 100 ausgewählten Objekten erzählt. Über einen «Call for Objects» konnten Vorschläge aus der gesamten Institution eingereicht werden. Die Kurator* innen Klaus Nippert und Andrea Stengel geben historische Einordnungen der Objekte hinsichtlich ihrer Rolle in Forschung, Lehre und Entwicklung. Der Katalog, herausgegeben von Klaus Nippert, zeigt zahlreiche Neuaufnahmen der Objekte, fotografiert von Jonas Zilius und Amadeus Bramsiepe, und vermittelt zwischen ihrer aktuellen Erscheinung sowie den aufgeworfenen historischen Perspektiven. In der Gestaltung verschränkt Christoph Engel Text und Bild in eine besondere Form, die zum visuellen Flanieren einlädt.Klaus Nippert studierte Geschichte und Mittellateinische Philologie; Promotion zu einem frühneuzeitlichen Thema. 2002 Leitung des Universitätsarchivs Karlsruhe, seit 2009 KIT-Archiv. Publikationen auf den Gebieten der Archiv-, Geschichts- und Literaturwissenschaft.

These work great for home office.

I was looking for something to block background for a home office, so I wouldn't have to use the distracting background filters. These work great and give my backdrop a more professional appearance. They are very easy to install. The box arrived with a few shipping holes, but packaging was sufficient to avoid any product damage.
