This is a dangerous place. You will have to work together as a team to avoid deadly traps, brave the burning lava and defeat the mysterious guardians of the temple. Stick together to share your skills, or split up to cover more ground. But be warned - the volcano is stirring beneath you, and time is running out...

In Sub Terra II: Inferno's Edge, players gradually reveal new tiles as they form the board, mapping the volcanic temple from its sunlit entrance to its flaming core. As players explore the temple, they will have to overcome obstacles, avoid dangerous terrain, and face the fierce guardians of the 'artifact'. During each player's turn, after they complete their actions, a random hazard is activated, making careful action planning essential for survival.

Players must collectively find and obtain 3 'keys', mysterious objects needed to access the room containing the legendary artifact. Your adventures must be short, however, because the volcano is stirring and as the game progresses, the volcanic eruption approaches, turning tiles into completely inhospitable lava flows that will drive the adventurers out of the cave.
