Der künstliche Nebel ist das verbindende Element, ein Symbol für die natürliche Welt, die mit zunehmender Geschwindigkeit aus unserem Blickfeld verschwindet; ein Echo des Rauchs der Waldbrände, die, angeheizt durch den Klimawandel, große Teile des Planeten verwüsten. Trotz ihres Verlustes sind diese Menschen und Tiere Überlebende. Sie sind Pioniere, die schon jetzt in die neue Phase eintreten, die unsere Welt erreicht hat. In The Day May Break erzählen sie ihre Geschichten.

NICK BRANDT (*1964, London) studierte Malerei und Film an der St. Martin's School of Art in London. Im Jahr 1992 zog er nach Kalifornien, wo er auch heute noch lebt. Seit 2001 dokumentiert er die zerstörerischen Auswirkungen, die der Mensch auf die Natur und damit auch auf sich selbst hat. Das erste Kapitel von The Day May Break wurde 2020 in Simbabwe und Kenia aufgenommen. Kapitel zwei entstand 2022 in Bolivien. Mit dem dritten Kapitel führt Brandt Farbe in die Serie ein und verstärkt damit die allumfassende Kraft des Wassers.

Doesn’t work properly
The mount part was great, but I couldn’t get the charger to work. Had it replaced and it still didn’t work. Disappointing because otherwise it was great. I still use it as a mount and use a cord to charge.

An amazing charger for the car that is super fast with just contact
This wireless charger mount charges much faster than my old wireless charger and now helps me keep my phone charged throughout the day just from my commute. The mount works well in my Ford Lightning display which is similar to the Tesla as well. The ability to charge at 25W really makes it faster than even plugging it in directly with a cable. This is very helpful for quick access and making sure it is always charging.
The magnet is quite strong and I have no concerns of the phone falling off at all. The maneuverability of the mount is quite robust and allows the phone to sit at whatever angle you want it to. You can adjust to the side of the monitor, all the way to the top as well with articulation for fine tuning the angle on the z axis.
The phone charges about 15-20% during my 15 minute commute which is huge to keep the charge up before and after work.
