Da das Tracking für die Datenübertragung eine Mobilfunkverbindung nutzt ist es dank Zusatzakku für Diebe sehr schwer das Tracking zu unterbinden. Außerdem ist es nicht nötig, dass sich ein kompatibles Smartphone in der Nähe befindet, welches den Dieb womöglich noch über die Anwesenheit eines Trackers informiert.
Für die Funktion ist somit ein aktives Abonnement nötig. Das Gerät kommt mit einem Abo für ein Jahr. Ist das Abo abgelaufen, kostet des Abo im Anschluss 39,50€/Jahr oder 3,95€/Monat
