Sakata 3D PLA 850 wird aus PLA Ingeo 3D850 Resin von NatureWorks hergestellt – einem biologisch abbaubaren Material, das speziell für den 3D-Druck entwickelt wurde. Dieses Hochleistungs-PLA bietet im Vergleich zu Standard-PLA eine höhere Wärme- und mechanische Beständigkeit sowie eine schnellere Kristallisation. Dadurch lassen sich präzise Druckteile mit exzellenter Detailauflösung herstellen – oft sogar ohne Stützstrukturen.

Das Material weist eine sehr geringe thermische Kontraktion auf, was Verformungen und Warping stark reduziert. Dank der hohen Druckbett-Haftung ist ein Heizbett nicht zwingend erforderlich, wird aber für optimale Ergebnisse bei 40–60 °C empfohlen.

Besonders die Variante PLA 850 SILK überzeugt mit einer seidigen, glänzenden Oberfläche. Sie eignet sich ideal für dekorative Modelle und Bauteile, bei denen neben hoher Stabilität auch eine edle Optik gefragt ist.
