Togouchi Peated Cask Finish

Besonderheiten: Dieser japanische Blended Whisky vereint die Raffinesse schottischer Malz- und kanadischer Getreidewhiskys, die in Japan zu einer harmonischen Einheit verschmolzen sind. Nach der Reifung in Bourbonfässern erfolgt eine abschließende Lagerung in Fässern, die zuvor Islay-Whiskys beherbergten, was dem Togouchi Peated Cask Finish seine charakteristische Rauchigkeit verleiht.

Tasting Notes:

  • Nase: Fruchtige Aromen von schwarzem Tee, Orangenschale und Schokolade, begleitet von einem Hauch von Rauch.
  • Gaumen: Sanft und ausgewogen mit Noten von Honig, Kokosnuss und einem leichten Torfgeschmack.
  • Abgang: Harmonisch mit Aromen von karamellisiertem Zucker, geräuchertem Torf und einem floralen Hauch von Lavendel.

Destillerie/Abfüller: Die Sakurao Distillery, gegründet 1918 in der Nähe von Hiroshima, ist bekannt für ihre meisterhafte Kunst der Whiskyherstellung. Mit jahrzehntelanger Erfahrung in der Produktion von Sake und Shochu hat sich die Distillery einen Namen in der Welt des Whiskys gemacht. Die Whiskys werden in einem 387 Meter langen alten Eisenbahntunnel gereift, der konstante Bedingungen für die Maturation bietet.
