Der polnische Fotograf und Filmemacher Tomasz Gudzowaty ist für seine Perfektion bekannt – klare Kompositionen, durchdacht bis ins letzte Detail. Die Herangehensweise an seine Serie Sumo ist jedoch eine völlig andere. Für seine fotografische Würdigung des japanischen Nationalsports Sumō konfrontiert Gudzowaty sein Thema mit der rebellischen Ästhetik des »are-bure-bokeh«, was so viel bedeutet wie grob, verschwommen, unscharf. Dieser Stil entwickelte sich in den 1960er-Jahren in Japan als Gegenströmung zur damals herrschenden Norm des Fotojournalismus. Gudzowaty versucht mithilfe der Fotografie eine visuelle Sprache zu schaffen, die Dokumente jenseits von Worten festhält. Mit Sumo präsentiert er eine bisher unbekannte Seite seiner künstlerischen Arbeit.TOMASZ GUDZOWATY (*1971) ist Porträt- und Dokumentarfotograf sowie Filmemacher. Seine Arbeiten wurden in vielen Magazinen und Zeitungen publiziert, wie National Geographic oder Vogue Italia. Er erhielt zahlreiche Preise.

Relief for dry mouth without gum irritation
Big improvement for users with sensitive gums. These relieve dry mouth during the night almost as well as the regular tabs. Some complained about a residual gel left on the gums. 🙄Just wipe it off. It’s a small thing.

This version doesn’t work
I used these 2 nights in a row. I was hoping Oracoat found a solution to the problem people like me have with the regular Xylimelts: irritation of gums. As others have noted the “sensitive” version doesn’t melt and the goo that remains can be difficult to remove. I didn’t have too much trouble after the first night. However, the second day after use, it was so hard to get the remains out, I wound up with a very sore spot from digging it out. I will toss the rest.
It’s too bad this effort fizzled. I hope Oracoat will find a solution For sensitive mouths. In the b meantime, I will use the original for a few nights and then stop before repeating. The idea behind the original product is fantastic. Unfortunately this attempt to make it usable for people with sensitive mouths hasn’t worked. Please try again.

An improvement over the original product, but could be better
I had used the original Xylimelts a few years back for my night time very dry mouth. They worked very well, completely dissolving overnight, but they caused sores inside my cheeks. Recently I discovered this new version which was purported to be made without the offending ingredients. They don't work quite as well, as they don't completely dissolve, but so far haven't caused any irritation. My mouth isn't completely parched as it was without any product, so it is definitely better than nothing. There is a gel-like residue in the morning that needs to be scraped off the teeth. I think Oracoat has some more R & D to do.
