Was ist PEA?

PEA ist die Kurzform von Palmitoylethanol-Amid. Es ist ein natürliches Fettsäure-Amid das in Zellen von Pflanzen, Tieren und Menschen vorkommt. Schon im Jahr 1957 wurde dieser Aktiv-Stoff entdeckt und ist seitdem regelmäßiger Bestandteil von wissenschaftlichen Veröffentlichungen. In der wissenschaftlichen Datenbank „PubMed“ gibt es mittlerweile ca. 900 Studien die sich mit PEA beschäftigen. Der Nutzen von PEA im Körper wurde von der italienischen Nobelpreis-Trägerin Rita Levi-Montalcini in den 1990 Jahren erkannt.

PEA kommt natürlich in Lebensmitteln wie Eiern, Erdnüssen, Soja oder Fleisch vor. In Situationen, in denen ein erhöhter Bedarf besteht, kann es sinnvoll sein PEA als Nahrungsergänzungsmittel einzunehmen. PEA unterstützt dein allgemeines Wohlbefinden.
