Sehr eleganter und vollmundiger Rotwein mit der Herkunftsbezeichnung Etna DOC, hergestellt aus Nerello Mascalese-Trauben. Limitierte Produktion: Pro Jahr werden nur 1400 Flaschen hergestellt. 

Rebsorte: Nerello Mascalese

Weinbereitung: Manuelle Ernte. Die zerkleinerten Trauben werden in Edelstahltanks gesammelt, wo die Gärung in Anwesenheit des Tresters bei einer Temperatur von 26–28°C erfolgt. Sobald die alkoholische Gärung abgeschlossen ist, verbleibt der Wein noch eine Woche im Trester, bevor er abgefüllt wird. Anschliessend wird der Wein in Holzfässer aus Kastanienholz gefüllt, wo die malolaktische Gärung stattfindet. In den Barriques verbleibt der Wein 14 Monate lang auf der Edelhefe. Nach einem Jahr Reifung in Stahlfässern wird der Wein 10 Monate lang in der Flasche verfeinert. 

Degustationsnotiz: Intensive rubinrote Farbe. Intensive Nase mit Noten von roten Beeren, Zimt, Vanille und Kakao. Am Gaumen ist er frisch, herzhaft und mit weichen Tanninen.

Kulinarische Empfehlung: Wild, rotes Fleisch, gereifte Käsesorten

Alkoholgehalt: 14% Vol.
