Domaine de Cristia Châteauneuf du Pape Renaissance 2022Robert Parker Wine Advocate 94 100 (Jahrgang 2017) "Still in demi muids and barrels when I visited, the 2017 Chateauneuf du Pape Renaissance is a 60 40 blend of Grenache and Mourvdre, again from the sandy soils that characterize all of the wines from this domaine. It's full bodied, plush and round, loaded with black cherries and plumsand just a hint of vanilla on the lingering finish. Tasted twice (once blind), with consistent notes." Jeb Dunnuck 96+

Robert Parker - Wine Advocate 94/100 (Jahrgang 2017)
"Still in demi-muids and barrels when I visited, the 2017 Chateauneuf du Pape Renaissance is a 60-40 blend of Grenache and Mourvèdre, again from the sandy soils that characterize all of the wines from this domaine. It's full-bodied, plush and round, loaded with black cherries and plums—and just a hint of vanilla on the lingering finish. Tasted twice (once blind), with consistent notes."

Jeb Dunnuck 96+/100 (Jahrgang 2017)
"Still aging in older barrels, the 2017 Châteauneuf Du Pape Renaissance checks in as a normal blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Mourvèdre from 110-year-old vines and the sandy soils of the lower Cristia lieu-dit. It's a sexy, ripe, opulent effort that has loads of ripe blackberry, pot roast, chocolate, and incense aromas and flavors. Ripe, powerful, and decadently textured, it's a full-bodied, rich, beautiful wine that has ripe tannins, some oak to integrate, and a great finish."

Verkostungsnotiz

Ausbau
24 Monate in Barriques gereift. Der Wein ist weder geschönt noch filtriert.

Terroir

Flimsy Nozzle
Size: 2 fl oz
The nozzle is so flimsy at the moment I pressed on it it popped off the can into the gas tank. I didn’t press it softly but I also didn’t press it very hard either, getting it out was a huge pain in the butt.

Helped to improve combustion in 12 year old Mercruiser 3.0L engine
Color: Blue, Number of Items: 1
I used the whole bottle in 1/2 tank of questionable gasoline from used boat from dealership, with no idea what mixture of gas water and particulates was in the gas tank in this 12 year old boat. The dealer started up the boat, and it was taking a minute to get the idle going. He mentioned that the gas was a few months old, but I am guessing that is was more like 6 months old. This is the TKS engine, self priming. I think some water / condensate was in the tank. Before taking out to first trip, I added bottle and 5 gallons fresh gas. That trip to the lake, I still has some issues getting it to start easily. Ran OK, not great that day, went home, changed cap and rotor and wires. Next trip, 1 week later, the 3.0L started great, ran great, I am not sure if it took some hours to fully mix and interact with the old gas, neutralize the water, and perform it's reactions, before it made existing gas more combustible, but that is what it seemed like to me. ***UPDATE**** - I had strange fuel issues the next season after using this product. I had to replace the fuel pump and many other fuel delivery components including the carburetor. Not sure if this contributed to the fuel system failing, the long term effects outweigh the short term gains.
