 Das Weingut Tenuta Luce entstand 1995 aus dem Traum und Willen zweier Weinvisionäre: Marchese Vittorio Frescobaldi aus Florenz und Robert Mondavi aus Kalifornien. Durch die Verbindung ihrer Leidenschaft und Kultur wollten sie gemeinsam einen außergewöhnlichen, andersartigen Wein im Herzen von Montalcino zum Leben erwecken. Ihre Söhne Lamberto und Tim, damals junge Önologen, setzen ihre Vision schließlich um, in dem sie Sangiovese und Merlot miteinander vermählten und damit den ersten Wein im Montalcino in dieser Kombination kreierten. Das einzigartige Etikett der Luce-Sonne ist inspiriert am Hochaltar der Basilika Santo Spirito in Florenz.

Beschreibung

Der Lucente 2022 von Tenuta Luce ist eine toskanische Rotweincuvée aus Merlot und Sangiovese, die den Charakter des sonnigen Jahrgangs eindrucksvoll widerspiegelt. In der Nase entfalten sich Noten von Granatapfel, dunklen Brombeeren und feinem Veilchen, untermalt von würzigen Nuancen. Die Traubenreife profitierte von einem heißen Sommer mit gezielten Regenfällen, was zu optimaler Fruchtkonzentration führte. Am Gaumen zeigt sich der Wein harmonisch und vollmundig, mit samtigen, reifen Tanninen. Eine lebendige Frische verleiht ihm Dynamik, der würzige Abgang sorgt für einen nachhaltigen Eindruck.
