Heute ist Rahlstedt Hamburgs einwohnerstärkster Stadtteil. Besonders sehenswert sind zahlreiche gut erhaltene Jugendstil- und Gründerzeitvillen, sowie das Denkmal für den Dichter Detlev von Liliencron.
