Der HEPCO & BECKER Tankring Basic wurde speziell für das Modell Suzuki GSX-S 1000 GX der Baujahre 2024 bis 2025 entwickelt. Dieses Zubehörteil dient der sicheren Befestigung von Tankrucksäcken der Marke HEPCO & BECKER auf der Maschine.

Produktmerkmale

  • Der Tankring ermöglicht eine stabile und sichere Montage des Tankrucksacks, selbst bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten.
  • Die Bedienung erfolgt durch eine mechanische Verriegelung, die ein deutlich hörbares Einrasten des Tankrucksacks gewährleistet.
  • Zum Entriegeln wird ein Gurt an der Vorderseite des Tankrucksacks in Fahrtrichtung gezogen, woraufhin der Rucksack leicht abgenommen werden kann.
  • Die Montage des Tankringes beeinträchtigt nicht die Zugänglichkeit des Tankdeckels, welcher weiterhin problemlos geöffnet werden kann.
  • In Deutschland ist für die Verwendung des Tankrucksacksystems keine Allgemeine Betriebserlaubnis (ABE) oder eine Eintragung in die Fahrzeugpapiere erforderlich.
  • Die empfohlene Höchstgeschwindigkeit mit montiertem Tankrucksack beträgt 130 km/h und die maximale Zuladung sollte 3 kg nicht überschreiten.

Installation und Kompatibilität

Der Tankring Basic wird zusammen mit einem Gegenhalter geliefert, der abhängig von der Tankform und dem Lenkereinschlag am Tankrucksack angebracht wird. Für die Installation sind keine weiteren Teile notwendig. Es ist wichtig, dass sowohl der Tankring als auch der Gegenhalter vom selben System stammen, um Kompatibilitätsprobleme zu vermeiden.

Unterschiede zu anderen Tankringen

Im Vergleich zum Lock-it Tankring von HEPCO & BECKER, der zusätzlich Magnete für die Zentrierung nutzt, bietet der Basic Tankring eine rein mechanische Verriegelung. Beide Systeme verwenden jedoch denselben modellspezifischen Metallring.
