Mit insgesamt sieben Spielbrettern kannst du dich in der Gumba-Lagune dem Wechsel der Gezeiten hingeben, im Regenbogen-Kaufpalast nach den Sternen suchen, im Western-Land und in Marios Regenbogenburg aus vorherigen Titeln klassisches Ambiente erneut genießen und mehr.

Düse im Bowserathlon über das Partybrett, dem ersten Online-Wettkampf dieser Reihe für 20-Spieler, und finde heraus, wer die meisten Punkte macht in Minispielen wie dem rasanten Gleiter-Goldrausch. Je höher dein Punktestand pro Runde, desto schneller gelangst du ans Ziel. Der Bowserathlon ist nur einer von zahlreichen zusätzlichen Modi – für jede Art von Mario Party-Spieler gibt es etwas zum Spaßhaben!

Minispiele mit Bewegungssteuerung erfordern einen Joy-Con-Controller und sind nicht verfügbar im Online-Modus. Minispiele mit Bewegungssteuerung sind nicht kompatibel mit Nintendo Switch Lite oder dem Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, aber Minispiele mit Tastensteuerung können auch unter Verwendung der zuvor erwähnten Konsolen/Zubehöre gespielt werden.
