Das robuste hochleistungsfähige Makita DMR 115 Bluetooth-Radio mit IP65- Gehäuseschutzklassifizierung, läuft mit 12 V, 14,4 V und 18 V Li-Ion Schiebeakkus oder dem mitgelieferten Netzteil. Man kann einfach mit Via Bluetooth eine Verbindung mit Ihrem Smartphone aufbauen und Musik abspielen. Er ist mit DAB+ Empfang, AUX-Anschluss und USB-Anschluss versehen. Die Anschlüsse dienen zum Aufladen Ihres Smartphones. Der Subwoofer auf der Gehäuseunterseite sowie Mittel- und Hochtonlautsprecher an den Seiten, sorgen für satten und klaren Sound. Zu dem Akku Baustellenradio gibt es 2x das Makita BL 1840 B 18 V -  4 Ah / 4000 mAh Li-Ion Akku mit LED - Anzeige und 1x das Makita DC 18 RC 9,6 V - 18 V Akku Schnell Ladegerät für Li-Ion Akku . Der Makita BL 1840 B Akku mit 4 Ah überzeugt mit maximierter Ausdauer bei gleichem Gewicht (im vergleich zu 3 Ah Akkus). Ein zusätzlicher Vorteil ist die kurze Ladezeit von nur 36 Minuten im Makita Ladegerät. Der Akku verfügt dank geringer Selbstentladung und Kurzschluß-, Überspannungs- und Überhitzungsschutz über maximale Lebensdauer. Zudem besitzt der BL 1840 B noch eine LED - Ladestandanzeige zum Überprüfen der Restenergie im Akku. Das Makita DC 18 RC ist ein Akku Schnellladegerät für 9,6 - 18 Volt Li-Ion Akkus von Makita. Das Ladegerät kontrolliert und steuert durch einen integrierten Mikroprozessor permanent die Spannung und Temperatur, wodurch optimale Ladevorgänge garantiert und zugleich die Akkus durch eine optimal geführte Kühlluftsteuerung geschont werden. Das Schnellladegerät lädt die 18 Volt Akku Generation von Makita extrem schnell auf, was zu sehr kurzen Ladepausen bzw. zu einem fließenden Arbeitsvorgang führt, sobald z.B. zwei Akkus vorhanden sind.

The Best for Athletics

This is a sleek, light wristwatch that will not weigh you down with its bulk. Forget the gigantic profile of a "survivalist" wristwatch. This unisex model is svelte and slim, not adding much to the wake you generate while swimming, or the swing of your arms while running, or the wind as it passes around your wrists and hands while you are speeding by on your racing bike. This is only 34mm across, by 35mm tall, by 11.5mm thick. The wristband is 13mm at its median working width. Timex styling cannot be beat, and neither is the resin-rubber-like material. I don't know about you, but the price is something I take a good look at. I want a watch that is reasonably priced and high-quality. I don't want to spend $200 to $1000 on a watch and worrying about being careful with it. If it gets smashed, it's only $30 to $50, not a big loss, and the quality is way better than what they were making in the 1980's. These watches are made for athletics and the real world.

Great watch, flimsy band

I bought this watch to replace a similar model because the band broke. I see this is a recurrent problem in many other reviews. However, I liked the watch enough to buy it again anyway. I found the new model easy to set, being fairly intuitive. So far it keeps perfect time. I use this watch mainly as a travel watch, and loved the dual time zone function. I am pleased that the newer model now has the ability to set 3 times zones instead of 2, which is an added bonus. The only con I see at this point is the flimsy strap. Unfortunately, the strap on this model is even thinner than on the previous one, and I wonder how long it will last. Also I wonder about the battery length. I think these watches may have been sitting around a long time. The setting showed 2012. I am afraid much of the battery life of the original battery may have already been used up and the battery may need replacing early. Only time will tell. The watch fits my small wrist fine and it is a little more attractive than the old model. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 only because of the band problem.

Fine for a man (with skinny wrists)

I have an older mens ironman which has gotten a little beat up and needs replacing. The band is much longer than I need. The metal clasp sits off-center on the underside of my wrist, closer to the part of my wrist which curves around to the front. The too-long strap sometimes flops around and catches on things. I couldn't find a smaller-band mens version, so I tried this "womens" watch (picking the most manly-looking one, of course). I like it better. The band fits my wrist much better, with the metal band in the middle and no flop. I also like that the watch is lighter and the face and band are smaller and less bulky, so it is less noticeable when I'm wearing it (cycling weight weenies will appreciate this). The face is still large enough to be easily legible and contains all of the same great features as my mens ironman watch, plus the newer versions now have an hourly chime, nice! Other info: my wrist is ~17.5cm or ~7.0" around. On this watch, I use the 6th out of 9 slots on the band. On my mens ironman, I use the 3rd out of 9 slots. Weight: this one = 28g, mens = 39g. Pics show comparison of my prior mens ironman with this new "womens" ironman. Photo order is confusing (couldn't figure out how to change that). They are: (1) side-by-side, mens on left, (2) mens band (wider and clasp is off-center on my wrist, end of band hangs over the edge of my wrist -- too long for me -- catches on things), (3) womens band (less wide, clasp is more centered on my wrist and end does hang over edge of my wrist), (3) womens watch (smaller, and looks new), and (5) mens watch, looking a little beat up.

Watch holds up in saltwater!

I bought this watch to use for my trip to the Galapagos Islands. I read two reviews that the watch does not hold up in salt water. I went snorkeling in the ocean 6 times, about 45 minutes each time. The watch did not leak. I did take precautions by keeping the watch under my rash guard and lowering myself slowly into the water. I also rinsed off my watch each time I snorkeled. I also bought this watch for the multi time zone feature by saving the time on the west coast, east coast and Galapagos time since I cannot change the time on my Fitbit until I land in an airport. I did not use any other features of the watch because I generally use my phone or Fitbit for an alarm or timer. The only complaint I have is that Timex now discourages changing the battery by the consumer. I changed the battery myself on my old Ironman watch. The new Ironman watch is fitted with triangular head screws. So I will have to purchase screwdrivers with triangular heads when it comes time to change the battery.
