Une Suisse sans montagnes ? Impensable. Une Suisse sans CAS ? De même. Depuis sa fondation, le CAS laisse sa marque en haut, en bas et finalement partout: depuis le 19 avril 1863, lorsque 35 hommes réunis dans la salle du premier étage de la gare d’Olten ont fondé le Club Alpin Suisse CAS. Lequel figure aujourd’hui parmi les plus grandes associations sportives de Suisse, avec ses quelque 140 000 membres organisés en 111 sections couvrant tout le territoire. S’il est dans ce pays une association digne de porter le nom d’Helvetia, c’est bien le CAS. Cette distinction sera illustrée dans une publication aussi imposante qu’un livre de cabane, et honorée par une grande exposition au Musée Alpin Suisse à Berne. Durant l’année jubilaire, il sera transformé en cabane de montagne à deux étages. En pleine ville. 150 ans du Club Alpin Suisse: une belle moisson de sommets et de sentiments. Colorés, surprenants, variés comme le monde suisse de la montagne entre Piz Buin et Basodino, Dufourspitze et La Dôle. L’association détaillée dans une somme de chiffres et de faits richement illustrés. Une histoire et des histoires, des anecdotes et des vues d’avenir, des notices et des conférences. 35 portraits de clubistes actuels en grand format, représentant toute la Suisse, du haut et du bas, de 10 à 100 ans. Tout y est. Ce livre vous guide à travers le club à l’occasion d’une année très particulière. Vous y trouverez plus encore. Au début du mois de septembre 1863 eut lieu la première assemblée générale du Club Alpin Suisse CAS à Glaris. Un participant local s’en félicitait dans ces termes: «Das ist, bi mim Eid, der schönst Verein, wo’s i der Schwiz gibt» (C’est vraiment la plus belle association de la Suisse). Que dirait-il donc du livre du jubilé et de l’exposition anniversaire?

Great shoes for everyday wear and baseball practice

So far, my son has really enjoyed these shoes. He wears them every day, and they’ve held up pretty well, even with baseball practice. They seem comfortable for him, and they’ve handled regular use better than expected.
I’m very happy with the quality and durability so far. For everyday wear and active use, these have been a great choice. I’d give them 5 out of 5 stars and would definitely recommend them.

Awesome shoes for an active kid

These shoes are absolutely AWESOME. We've tried a lot of these lesser known Amazon brands as well as big brand names and these Kubuas are great. Comfortable, light, can be worn all day. My 10 year old is on his second size. The old pair that he's outgrown now is still in pretty good shape. Highly recommend!

He loves them.

Great construction and very durable. I’ve got an 8 year old boy who loves to play rough. He wears them through mud, grass, gets them wet, anything you can imagine. They clean really easily, which is a lifesaver when you’ve got an 8 year old.
He loves the colors and his friends think they’re cool, which is a bonus.
They support his arches well, fit just right, and are true to size. These can be worn as daily walkers, gym shoes, running shoes, or when he wants to look fly. These grip is strong - great for gym class.
Very affordable and well worth it. Shipped quickly. Multiple uses for sports, walking, basketball, soccer, whatever. The laces are tough and the tongue is well constructed, as is the heel and the sole.
Works perfectly.

The BEST kids tennis shoes

I just bought a second pair of these for my son. The first pair lasted a whole school year, which is pretty good for an active 4 year old, and he still loves them though they look a bit beat up. Got him a new pair for his birthday and he’s so excited. Worth every penny. True to size and they are apparently very comfortable.
