Telmo Rodriguez verbrachte seine Kindheit auf dem Rioja-Weingut Remelluri seines Vaters, studierte Biologie in Bilbao, absolvierte das Önologiediplom in Bordeaux und erlernte unter anderem beim legendären Bruno Prats auf dem Château Cos d'Estournel die hohe Schule der Weinbereitung.
Im Jahr 1994 startete er das vielleicht innovativste und ehrgeizigste Projekt der neueren spanischen Weinbaugeschichte: Er begann in unterschiedlichen Regionen Spaniens die besten nur möglichen Weine zu keltern. Ununterbrochen ist er unterwegs, um mit seinem Team von in Bordeaux ausgebildeten Önologen und in Zusammenarbeit
mit lokalen Erzeugern seine Weine vor Ort zu produzieren.
Dabei wird versucht, die regional typischen Reben und Merkmale der einzelnen Weine in den Vordergrund zu stellen. Bis jetzt wurden Weine in den DO-Bereichen Alicante, Cigales, Malaga, Navarra, Ribera del Duero, Rioja, Rueda und Toro produziert.
Sensorik
Im Glas glänzt ein dichtes Rubinrot mit leicht purpurfarbenen Reflexen.
Im Gaumen präsentiert intensive Frucht von reifer Kirsche, ein bisschen süße Maulbeere und sanfte Röstaromen.
Im Gaumen werden die reifen Fruchtaromen begleitet von Vanille, Schokolade, Lakritze und Veilchen.
Auch Kräuter wie Rosmarin und Lavendel sind deutlich spürbar.
Wir haben es hier mit einem dichten und charaktervollen Rioja zu tun.
Durch die lange Reifung sind die Gerbstoffe wunderbar eingebunden und die Säure kaum spürbar.
Trotzdem zeigt dieser großartige Rotwein auch seine frische Seite und wirkt nicht zu schwer..Ein rundum eleganter Wein für ganz spezielle Momente.
Serviervorschlag
Der Marques de Riscal Gran Reserva passt wunderbar zu geschmorrtem Fleisch, Goulas, Eintöpfe, gegrilltes rotes Fleisch oder eine mediterrane Antipastiplatte.
Dieser Rotwein sollte bei einer Temperatur von 16 bis 18 Grad serviert werden.
Rebsorten
Für die Herstellung des Remelluri Granja Gran Reserva Rioja wird die Rebsorte Tempranillo verwendet.

LOVE MY SINK CADDY!

This caddy is such a game changer for my kitchen. It keeps everything neat and in one place AND no more clutter around the sink! I can fit my soap, sponges, and brushes easily, and it still looks nice on the counter. The drying base really works too! It absorbs water fast and doesn’t get gross like other trays I’ve had. It’s sturdy, doesn’t slip, and even looks kind of decorative. Definitely worth it!

Great Sink Caddy

Great size and you can configure it to accommodate a range of soaps and gadgets. The brush holder can be moved to the outside for more storage area in the main basket. The little divider adjust across the wires and it stays in place. The stone bottom absorbs drips quickly and I haven’t noticed any discoloration on it. It stays in place on the sink edge. Perfect for my organization needs and keeps the area neat vs tossing the brushes on the ledge leaving water marks on the counter. It was packaged well and the coating seems good! I bought a cheaper one and it came bent, with the coating popped off in several places. This one is worth paying a little bit more for the quality!

Wonderful, roomy caddy

I don't usually write reviews, but this is a great product to share. This sink caddy is everything they say it is. The bottom drying stone protects the counter surface from getting wet and sponges, etc. dry in a reasonable amt. of time. I love the basket for tall items like brushes- enough room for two- and the removable partition to use however one wants. I debated getting this longer one, but I am glad I did because it fits quite a bit. I even use the one side with the partition for a spray bottle. It also looks very nice and feels like a quality product. I wasn't sure if the black metal would go well with my beige countertop, but it looks great. I highly recommend it.
