The Stylus is the most specialized board in the range, and it makes no attempt to be anything else. Designed purely for light wind riding, it exists for those days when getting on the water is the win.

While much of the focus in kiteboarding sits on strong winds and big air, the reality is that light to moderate conditions are far more common. The Stylus is built specifically for those moments, maximizing planing efficiency and upwind performance when power is limited.

A refined base shape improves early tracking and stability, allowing the board to release quickly and carry speed with minimal effort. The wide outline and low rocker maximize usable surface area, while beveled tips reduce spray and maintain control in the choppy conditions that often come with marginal wind.

Paired with a light wind kite like the Moto XL, the Stylus becomes the ultimate session saver. It’s the board that gets you riding while others are still waiting, watching the water and hoping the wind fills in.

Purpose-built. Condition-specific. The Stylus turns marginal days into rideable ones.

*includes 5cm fins, handles and screws

Key Features

  • UD Basalt - UD Basalt helps support the light-wind low rocker line, allowing the board to get on the plane quickly and with the least amount of power.
  • Locked-in - Long rail channels improve grip allowing the board to do more while the rider does less.
  • Asymmetrical Stance - The specific stance to the Stylus utilises a more optimum centre of gravity for light wind planing and control.
  • Lightwind Rocker - Gets you up and riding on the plane incredibly quickly with the least amount of power possible. Essential for the lightest of wind speeds.
  • Wood core - Premium A-grade Paulownia wood core is vertically laminated to optimise strength, reduce weight and allow the board to flex freely and naturally.

Far from enthralling, but I did learn
Format: Paperback
This book was a disappointment. It looked like exactly what I was looking for: an overview of the history, society, and culture of Egypt from ancient to modern times that wasn't 500+ pages long. I did learn a fair bit of information, but unfortunately, the book is far from "enthralling." It reads like a high school student's book report. In addition, it sometimes just throws terms out there with no explanation, and I found myself having to consult Google. For example, it says "Since hieroglyphs were difficult to create, the Egyptians developed hieretic writing, which was a type of cursive script. Later, demotic writing was developed for ordinary documents." What is demotic writing? How is it different from hieretic? The book doesn't even provide a picture. I had to go to Wikipedia to find out what these things are. This book needs slightly more detail and an author with better writing style / storytelling abilities. That said, it still may be the best short introduction available.

Recommended read by tour guide to Egypt
Format: Paperback
Very good history book of Egypt in non-complicated terms. I wish there were more pictures and maps to add to the descriptions in the book. Read this as it was recommended by our tour guide to Egypt in April
