Der KAOKO Cruise Control Tempomat-Geschwindigkeitsstabilisator ist ein innovatives Zubehör für Motorradfahrer, das die Kontrolle und den Komfort auf langen Fahrten erhöht. Dieses Gerät ermöglicht es dem Fahrer, die Gasgriffstellung sicher einzustellen, um eine konstante Geschwindigkeit zu halten, ohne den Gasgriff ständig manuell bedienen zu müssen.

Design und Funktion

Das Herzstück dieses Systems ist eine Reibungsmutter, die zusammen mit einem speziell entworfenen KAOKO™ Lenkerendgewicht integriert ist. Das Lenkerendgewicht ist in Aussehen und Gewicht eng auf das Original-Equipment-Hersteller (OEM) Lenkerendgewicht abgestimmt. Die Installation des Kits erfordert meist nur den Austausch des OEM-Lenkerendgewichts durch das KAOKO Kit.

Bedienung

Um den Tempomat zu aktivieren, kann der Fahrer während der Fahrt die Reibungsmutter zwischen kleinem Finger und Handfläche einklemmen, um die Reibung zu erhöhen und so die Drosselklappe auf der gewünschten Position zu fixieren. Trotz der Reibung kann der Gasgriff weiterhin geöffnet und geschlossen werden, allerdings mit einem leichten Widerstand. Zum Deaktivieren einfach die Reibungsmutter in entgegengesetzter Richtung bewegen, bis der Gasgriff frei schnappt und sich leicht bewegen lässt.

Eigenständige Installation

Jeder KAOKO Tempomat-Geschwindigkeitsstabilisator wird mit einer spezifischen Montageanleitung geliefert. Die Montage ist einfach und in wenigen Minuten erledigt. In den meisten Fällen ist nur der Austausch des OEM-Lenkerendgewichts auf der Gasgriffseite notwendig.

Unlike a traditional opener, this one cuts under the can edge which requires caution when removing the lid as exposed cut edges are very sharp. Also, the opener does not stop when it has completed its circuit. The start button has to be pressed to stop action.

Opener leaves wire threads on the rim of the can when opening. Poses a danger if ingested.

Purchased this item hoping it would make opening cans easier (I have osteoarthritis in my hands). First time I tried it, after it rounded the lid of a can of DelMonte green beans, nothing. I reseated it, and held it down when it started. It opened the can after circling the top two times. When I took the lid off the can, there were tiny wire "threads" stuck on the can, and more stuck on the Kitchen Mama opener. I was able to very carefully wipe the wire threads off and pour the can of beans into my pan. HOWEVER, I will not use this product again. Who wants to run the risk of ingesting wire threads?!!! I would return the product for a refund, but my husband destroyed the box opening it, so this will go into the garbage. I wouldn't sell at a garage sale or donate it, because someone else might ingest the wire threads, and then Kitchen Mama would have a lawsuit on their hands I wouldn't have given ANY stars, but you have to give at least one to write a review.
