Indikation

Mepilex Border Post-Op ist ideal für exsudierende akute Wunden wie chirurgische Schnitte und Abrasionen. Speziell entwickelt für die postoperative Versorgung, absorbiert er effektiv Blut. Die Flex Technologie macht ihn äußerst anpassungsfähig und besonders geeignet für chirurgische Wunden an Gelenken wie Hüfte und Knie. Die Größen sind auf Absorptionsfähigkeit, Flexibilität und Haftung abgestimmt. Varianten ab 20 cm haben ein absorbierendes Kissen für stark exsudierende Wunden, während kleinere Größen für mäßig bis stark exsudierende Wunden geeignet sind.

Given myself a couple weeks of consistent use before giving a review. There are a lot of pros to this product which include: moisturizing and stays moisturized all day, made my PIE marks (post acne marks) fade a lot faster. Repairs my skin barrier, especially while using tretinoin nightly, not too thick but thick enough to keep my face hydrated. It does not have a smell. The cons are: slight burn for about 15 seconds but disappears, it pills if I apply too much. It does pill less if I pat it on my face versus rubbing; it does not pill when I apply liquid foundation. I just have to let it dry for 15-20 mins before applying makeup. I found the pros to overpower the cons and will continue to use this product.
