Um beim Mähen von dichtem Gras mit einem Freischneider den Lärm zu reduzieren und die Energieeffizienz deutlich zu steigern, ist der Schneidkopf des PolyCut 48-2 statt mit einem Mähfaden mit zwei robusten Kunststoffmessern ausgestattet. So können Sie den Akku-Freischneider mit nur einer Ladung deutlich länger nutzen.  

Messer aus Kunststoff

Bei den Benzin-Freischneidern führt die Verwendung von Kunststoffmessern zu einem geringeren Kraftstoffverbrauch im Vergleich zu einem fadenbasierten Mähwerk. Im Lieferumfang des Mähkopfs sind außerdem sechs Kunststoff-Ersatzmesser enthalten. Optional können Sie den STIHL PolyCut 48-2 Mähkopf mit einem Schnittfaden mit 2,4 mm oder 2,7 mm Durchmesser ausstatten. Dies ist ideal für das Arbeiten an Bordsteinen oder anderen Hindernissen.

Einfach zu ersetzen

Auch die Stihl Kunststoffmesser lassen sich einfach auswechseln. Nachdem Sie den Schaft mit dem mitgelieferten Sicherungsstift Ihrer Motorsense gesichert haben, können Sie den Mähkopf abschrauben und die Messer einfach austauschen. Um den Verschleiß zu reduzieren und die Schnitthöhe zu erhöhen, ist der PolyCut 48-2 serienmäßig mit einem Schutzblech ausgestattet. 

Der PolyCut 48-2 Mähkopf ist mit den folgenden Freischneidern kompatibel:

  • FS 311
  • FS 360

Sie können Ihn auch mit den dauerhaft nicht mehr verfügbaren Freischneidern FS 160, FS 220, FS 300 und FS 350 verwenden.
