Whether you’re a freeracer or a pro windsurfer, this system lets you trim your sail quickly, safely, and flexibly from the water. The components are identical to those used in the Windsurf World Cup. The individual parts are manufactured by Wind Lounge Purchased from wholesalers and then assembled into your own custom trim system.

Why Marlow® Formuline Dyneema 3.8 mm?

The rope is permanently attached to the ClamCleatIt runs through the ®-clamps and secures the sail at the end of the boom. Thanks to its Dyneema® SK78 core, it can withstand years of wear and tear—even with daily use. Do you have more than three meters left over? Then use the rest directly as a luff line.

Thicker means better grip; thinner means better glide. Choose based on your riding style:

Marlow® Formuline Dyneema 3.8 mm: Smooth grip, maximum glide, ideal for quick trim adjustments.

GLEISTEIN MegaTwin Dyneema 5 mm (our recommendation): Better grip with good gliding properties, the all-rounder for all conditions. Construction: 12-strand braided Dyneema® SK78 core, polyester staple fiber intermediate layer, 24- or 32-strand braided high-tenacity polyester outer layer. Maximum strength, minimal stretch, long service life. Abrasion-resistant, suitable for stoppers, and UV-resistant, ideal for eights and downhalers, topping lines, reefing lines, and Cunninghams.

GLEISTEIN DISCOVER 8 mm: For maximum grip when trimming. The 8-strand braided Dyneema®/polyester blend offers excellent knot strength and a comfortable feel. Especially suitable for freeriders and anyone who prefers a secure grip when trimming.
