Carcassonne ist ein preisgekröntes Legespiel des Verlags Hans im Glück aus dem Jahr 2001 und wurde von Klaus-Jürgen Wrede entwickelt. Dieses klassische Gesellschaftsspiel basiert auf dem Anlegen von Landschaftsplättchen, die Städte, Straßen, Klöster und Wiesen abbilden und zusammen eine mittelalterliche Landschaft der Region Carcassonne formen.

Die Spieler ziehen reihum ein Plättchen und legen es so an, dass benachbarte Landschaftsteile zusammenpassen. Anschließend können sie einen ihrer Meeples als Dieb auf Straßen, Ritter in Städten, Mönch in Klöstern oder Bauern auf Wiesen platzieren. Abgeschlossene Städte, Straßen und Klöster werden sofort gewertet, während die Bauern auf den Wiesen erst am Spielende die Punkte bringen. Ziel ist es, durch geschicktes Platzieren der Spielfiguren Mehrheiten in verschiedenen Landschaftselementen zu erzielen.

Die Version aus dem Jahr 2001 mit altem Layout zeichnet sich durch ein etwas schlichtes Design und die klassische Bauernregel aus. Das Spiel enthält 72 Landschaftsplättchen und bietet durch den variablen Plättchenstapel eine hohe Wiederspielbarkeit. Carcassonne ist ein ideales Spiel für den Spieleabend und spricht Familien sowie Brettspielfans ab 8 Jahren an.

Great bowl, would love this in a larger size

This is a great way to treat your dog! I filled it with a bit of plain yogurt drink diluted with water, and my dog absolutely loved it. It only took him about 3-5 minutes to finish it, but he’s about 60lbs, so maybe a bigger size bowl would be better for him. Max capacity of this one is 190 ml. You do have to monitor your dog with this bowl - mine tried to dismantle the bowl when it was empty, trying to get more out of it. Overall I think it’s a fun way to get your dog to drink a little bit more with diluted yogurt, broth, etc.

Kudos to whomever created this! I have a super attached (med) dog that follows me from room to room alllll day. The first time I put this down he went right for it and didn’t even notice i had left the deck. He is very food driven. I used bone broth and pumpkin puree, which was a hit but once I used the apple sauce… HUGE hit. My only complaint is that it doesn’t come in an XL size. My dog can empty it in under 3 minutes..so he doesn’t get relaxed or sleepy! it does splash out a bit from the top so I use it on his food mat or outside..my sister can’t stand the noise the ball makes. I wasn’t diluting enough so the ball doesn’t move smoothly in the video, but it really does work! The cover is very well made and sturdy. I didn’t notice it sliding around at all. My dog also did not try to get the ball out (loves to tear apart toys) or tip it over, but I could see that happening. I wouldn’t use unsupervised unless you have a small dog. Please make a larger size!!!!

Works but the bowl is wacky

This slow feeder is actually a very good idea and my dog likes it. I blend plain, unsweetened yogurt with a little powdered pumpkin & apple pectin and thin it down with water so the roller ball can easily rotate. It's sturdy and it doesn't slip on the floor, which is good. However, I give it only three stars because the bowl inside is a ridiculous design. Instead of the inside surface being a gently sloping, smooth surface, the "legs" underneath protrude up through the inside (see photo). It makes stirring and cleanup much more difficult than it needs to be. Presumably, it's made using injection molding so it should be easy to design it with a smooth finish.

Happy licking brain stimulation!
