Produktbeschreibung:

Diese Terrassenschrauben von SPAX haben ein Fixiergewinde, welches das Deckbrett fixiert. Der kleine Zylinderkopf zieht sich bündig ins Holz und bietet eine perfekte Optik. Sie eignet sich besonders für Holzterrassen im Außenbereich und minimiert Knarrgeräusche der Bodenkonstruktion. T-STAR plus sorgt für einen sauberen Sitz des Bits und eine bessere Führung, z.B. bei der Verarbeitung über Kopf. Der kleine Zylinderkopf kann leicht mit verringerter Spaltwirkung im Holz versenkt werden und bietet eine einwandfreie Optik. Das stabile Blech-Doppelgang-Gewinde sorgt für bessere Furchen und eine höhere Flankenüberdeckung. Die Bohrspitze ermöglicht eine optimale Bohrleistung in Metall und Holz, sowohl im manuellen, als auch im automatischen Betrieb. Der rostfreie Edelstahl eignet sich besonders gut für Außenanwendungen, die der direkten Witterung ausgesetzt sind, sowie für die Anwendung in Feuchträumen (z.B. Küche und Bad).

Watch holds up in saltwater!

I bought this watch to use for my trip to the Galapagos Islands. I read two reviews that the watch does not hold up in salt water. I went snorkeling in the ocean 6 times, about 45 minutes each time. The watch did not leak. I did take precautions by keeping the watch under my rash guard and lowering myself slowly into the water. I also rinsed off my watch each time I snorkeled. I also bought this watch for the multi time zone feature by saving the time on the west coast, east coast and Galapagos time since I cannot change the time on my Fitbit until I land in an airport. I did not use any other features of the watch because I generally use my phone or Fitbit for an alarm or timer. The only complaint I have is that Timex now discourages changing the battery by the consumer. I changed the battery myself on my old Ironman watch. The new Ironman watch is fitted with triangular head screws. So I will have to purchase screwdrivers with triangular heads when it comes time to change the battery.

Nice simple effective inexpensive watch

I just ordered my second one of these. They are cheap, keep good time, show me the date, and last a long time. My last one lasted over 10 years. The only thing wrong with the last one was that the battery needed replacement (I think it was only the second time it had needed a battery in all the years I had owned it) at the same time the band wore out and broke. Rather than buy a new battery plus a new band, I just got a new one. I am hard on watches, and this one stood up very well. I regularly shower and swim with it on, and no problems. It doesn't have a lot of functions I don't need, like stopwatch, multiple time zones, etc. I have found those things more of a bother than a benefit, because any time you bump the knob against something, the display changes and you're always pressing all the buttons multiple times just to get the simple info needed- like what time is it and what is the date DEC 2020 UPDATE - I am ordering another one of these. The last one, I bought in mid 2019. Early in 2020, the date function quit working. By the end of November, the whole thing quit working. I know it's not the battery, because the light still works. So I am reducing my review by one star, and we'll see how well a new one does. The watch before the current one lasted about 10 years, so getting only a little over a year out of the current one is not good. Perhaps the current one just wasn't as good as the previous ones. It's entirely possible that they keep making the same watch out of lesser and lesser materials and workmanship.
