Wie bei jedem KW Gewindefahrwerk entwickeln unsere Fahrwerkingenieure auch für die fahrzeugspezifischen Anwendungen des KW V3 eine sportlich-harmonische Grundabstimmung. Neben Tests auf unserem KW 7-post Fahrdynamikprüfstand absolvieren wir dazu ausgiebige Messfahrten auf Landstraßen, der Autobahn und selbst auf der Nürburgring Nordschleife Testkilometer für Testkilometer, um Ihnen die perfekte Fahrwerkabstimmung zu garantieren. Seit Jahren ist das weltweit zu den Top-Aftermarketprodukten zählende KW V3 die Referenz für Gewindefahrwerke. Ähnlich wie bei unseren Rennsport-Gewindefahrwerken aus dem KW Competition-Programm kann beim KW V3 die Zugstufe und die Druckstufe unabhängig voneinander eingestellt werden. Diese individuelle Abstimmungsmöglichkeit wird von Veredlern, Sportwagenmanufakturen, Tunern und anspruchsvollen Fahrern weltweit geschätzt.
Das perfekte Fahrwerksetup für deutlich mehr Fahrdynamik
Haben Sie an Ihrem sportlichen Straßenfahrzeug bereits erste Performance-Modifikationen durchgeführt, ist es ein Leichtes mit dem KW V3 diese zielgerichtet in der Dämpferabstimmung zu berücksichtigen. Die patentierte KW Ventiltechnik für die getrennte Abstimmung der Zug- und Druckstufe erlaubt es Ihnen die fahrzeugspezifische Grundabstimmung von KW individuell anzupassen. Beispielsweise gibt Ihnen das im Lowspeed-Bereich der Druckstufe in zwölf Klicks einstellbare KW-Bodenventil den Spielraum, selbst die Reifencharakteristik Ihrer High- und Ultra-High-Performance-Straßenreifen bei der Fahrwerkabstimmung zu berücksichtigen.
Durch die patentierte Druckstufeneinstellung am unteren Kolbenende des Edelstahlgehäuses benötigten Sie dazu nicht einmal Werkzeug. Die einstellbare Druckstufenabstimmung mit ihren zwölf exakten Klicks erlaubt es Ihnen per Hand auf Karosserieroll- und Wankbewegungen Einfluss zu nehmen, ohne dabei die optimal zur Federrate passende Zugstufendämpfung verändern zu müssen.
Mit der individuell einstellbaren Zugstufenabstimmung des KW V3 können Sie direkt das Handling und den Komfort durch die exakte Klickverstellung beeinflussen. Je nach Fahrzeugtyp werden die Zugstufenventile der KW Zweirohrdämpfer am oberen Ende der Kolbenstange über ein integriertes Einstellrädchen oder dem im Lieferumfang beinhalteten Aufsteck-Einstellrädchen abgestimmt.
Indem Sie über das Einstellrädchen die Zugkraft erhöhen, verringern sich die Aufbaubewegungen an der Karosserie. Ihr Auto fährt sich dadurch spurtreuer und Sie haben bei erhöhten Kurvengeschwindigkeiten noch mehr Stabilität. Wechseln Sie beispielsweise von den freigegebenen Rad/Reifenkombinationen Ihres Automobilherstellers zu größeren Felgen, können Sie mit dem KW V3 das Fahrverhalten Ihres Autos und Ihrer neuen Leichtmetallräder perfekt aufeinander abstimmen.
Hochwertig, individuell und langlebig
Schon während der Produktion wird das KW V3 ausgiebigen Qualitätstests unterzogen und jeder einzelne Dämpfer überprüft. Nur so werden wir unserem Anspruch gerecht, beim Einbau eines KW Gewindefahrwerks V3 durch einen KW Fachhandelspartner eine Garantie von bis zu fünf Jahren zu gewährleisten. Durch die filigrane Verarbeitung und der Nutzung hochwertiger Komponenten sind beispielsweise die KW Gewindefederbeine aus Edelstahl zu 100 Prozent rostfrei und besitzen eine unbegrenzte Lebensdauer.
Dadurch ist die Funktionsweise der stufenlosen Tieferlegung über das schmutzunempfindliche KW Trapezgewinde und den KW Polyamid-Gewindering auch nach Jahren nicht beeinträchtigt. Durch die individuelle Tieferlegung mit ihrem stufenlosen Verstellbereich können Sie die Sportlichkeit Ihres Fahrzeugs auch optisch betonen. Setup: Die individuell einstellbare Zug- & Druckstufendämpfung der KW V3
Das KW V3 ist das ideale Zubehör für Performance-orientierte Autofahrer und Tuningenthusiasten, die bei ihren Fahrzeugen einen großen Anspruch auf Sportlichkeit legen. Die separat in Zug- und Druckstufe einstellbaren Dämpfer erlauben dabei, mit ihrer durchdachten Klickverstellung eine umfangreiche Dämpferabstimmung vorzunehmen. So ist es ein Leichtes das Einlenkverhalten, die Spurtreue, den Reifengrip und Handling-Eigenschaften maßgeblich für eine sichere Kontrollierbarkeit im Grenzbereich direkt zu beeinflussen.

Takes a beating - looks like new!

EDITED AGAIN, 12/28/22:
My boy still has his original blue one of these and the yellow one from way back. He's received a couple more over the years which he's managed to sneak out of the house and lose - evidently neighbor dogs or perhaps foxes, etc love them, too, and carry them off?! At any rate, he'd managed to get himself back to his original two, so I bought him a late Christmas present of a new yellow bone. He just opened the package (with help, of course - he's smart, but lacks the necessary opposing thumbs to do it on his own) and he was ecstatic! He reached into the mailing envelope, grabbed it, gave it a couple of triumphant tosses then ran for his bed, pulled a blanket in, and has been chewing, fighting with, burying in the blanket and "discovering" it for about a half hour now! I don't know what the attraction is, but he still loves these things and they're still lasting! The only other toys that have lasted more than a day are Nylabones (because he won't even look at them, let alone touch them) and a set of interlocked skinny rubber rings that he's not at all interested in, but if I ask about them, he'll move them around the room for a couple of days to make me feel better! LOL

Here I am, back 5 1/2 years later to say my dog STILL has this bone and makes use of it a couple of times a week. And he still loves it and sleeps with it. He has gone through a couple of the smaller version (yellow instead of blue) over this time frame because those get constant use. But that’s amazing in itself!! These are still the only toy I would call indestructible.
Great toy! I have a dachshund who destroys toys in record time. I can hear the amused chuckles now, but anyone who has seen him in action (including rottie, pit bull and Doberman owners) is in awe. He is very methodical and relentless - the mad genius of dog toy torture! Small and quiet but utterly ruthless.
Anyway...my boy has been working on this since the beginning of October and the thing looks like new! I think you can see one tooth mark, otherwise it looks untouched! This is a dog who can reduce Kongs and other rubber toys to a pile of chunks in minutes.
But he also LOVES it - carries it around, brings it into his bed at night to sleep, and when his doxie brother (who is far too dignified to do dog toys) doesn't feel well, it is offered up as a "feel better" snuggly...for about 2 minutes. But it's the thought that counts, right?
I don't know what makes this so attractive to my mini-Jaws and so long-lasting, but it works!

Great chew toy to keep around the house

This came highly recommended by the behavioural team at the animal shelter and it hasn't disappointed. It's interesting reading the reviews, because our power-chewer pit-mix who can get a chunk off a split antler in a matter of minutes, hasn't ever been able to get a bite out of this bone! This is a great play toy for her, because it's soft enough that we can throw it for her to fetch in the house without worrying about breaking/denting something and are able to pull it out of her mouth fairly easily once she brings it back (still hasn't learned "drop it!"). The bone isn't flavored, so she'll rarely go to it on her own to chew on, but we keep it near the couch so if she ever gets bitey, we have it close at hand to offer to her as a chewer. It's also entertaining to tuck it into her collar and have her figure out how to remove it to play with it (see photo for this game and size compared to 50lb mutt).

Best bouncy bone!

My pups love these bones! They are soft and rubbery, but very durable. Had them for a little over 6 months and it has survived my extreme chewers and many tug of war games, and only has a few puncture marks! They bounce on my concrete floors and my pup loves to play fetch with this. Great purchase

Excellent for aggressive chewers

First I would like to say I think Jolly Pets are the best line of dog toys out there if you have an aggressive chewer. Their products have amazed me! And I am not being paid for this review. I have a 155 lb mastiff that is an excellent behaved boy but loves to destroy his toys. I had this bone in large and it held up excellent for about 4-5 months. I ordered it again in medium size by mistake and after 2 weeks it already has pieces missing...my fault. My only complaint is the medium size in blue smells like vanilla perfume. I can't wash it off. Although my handsome boy doesn't seem to mind. I just reordered in large. Also ordered a few other Jolly Pet toys as I am amazed at how they hold up. The "soccer ball" is my dogs favorite. It reinflates itself again and again no matter how much chewing or wear and tear its given. It's just magic!
