Die wohl durchdachte Bauweise des Petromax bk1 führt zu einem Kamineffekt, der Zweige und Äste sparsam, aber dennoch enorm heiß verbrennt. Je nachdem in welcher Höhe du den Bodenrost einsetzt, wählst du das Brennmaterial: Sitzt der Rost des bk1 unten, eignen sich Reisig, Zweige oder kleine Äste, die du einfach durch die großzügige Öffnung nachschiebst. In der oberen Position eingesteckt funktioniert dein Hobo-Kocher auch mit einem Trockenbrennstoff-Würfel oder einem Spiritus-Brenner.
Einfach unterwegs zusammenstecken
Zusammengebaut wird der Petromax bk1 mit einem simplen Steck-System. So kannst du die Einzelteile optimal in der flachen und robusten Transporttasche aus Ripstop-Gewebe verstauen – und nichts klappert. Mit einem Gewicht von nur 590 g inkl. Tasche und seinem schmalen Packmaß passt der Petromax bk1 Hobo-Kocher in jeden Trekkingrucksack.

Beware of the off-gassing smell.
As much as I like the durable case, the ONLY complaint I have is the off-gassing. The case works great and I have no problems with it. But the smell is something terrible. My entire travel case smells horrible after coming back from a client just because this case has been transported within it. I had my coat on top of it one day and then my coat stunk. I thought if I aired it outside for a bit it would clear it up. When I take it back inside and use it again, it continues to smell. It is so offensive that I am ordering something from another company. I CANNOT say it smells similar to cigarette smoke, but can say that it smells like it has been in a smoker's home for the last 30 years and you just can't get the smell out, no matter what I do. And I tried to spray it with fresheners etc. Nothing worked. I can't use it because of this. I rated as a 2 only because of the smell. As mentioned earlier, the case itself is perfect and performs as it should.

Sturdy case large enough for most keyboards, with space for a mouse.
This is a great case that will protect most keyboards very well. My keyboard and mouse set is from Jelly Comb, and they fit well. It’s very spacious inside. In fact, my keyboard is thinner than what this case is designed for, so I had to pad the keyboard so it won’t move around too much, but I don’t consider this a bad thing. Now I know that if I get a larger keyboard, I can still use the same case. I also like the way it’s designed for a mouse. There are two pouches on top that indent into the case, so you can easily fit a mouse or cables in there and they won’t protrude too much. This case is perfect, and I can’t recommend it enough.
