Die jungen Blätter sind zunächst grün, aber mit zunehmendem Alter der Pflanze bekommen sie weiße Streifen. Und je älter der Philodendron ist, desto mehr weiße Streifen hat er.Die Pflanze ist luftreinigend und steht gerne im Halbschatten. Einmal pro Woche gießen und einmal im Monat düngen ist ausreichend. Der Philodendron wird mit einem dekorativen braunen Keramiktopf mit glasierter Oberfläche geliefert.
Gut zu wissen: Wenn die Blätter der Pflanze gelb oder braun werden, erhält sie zu viel oder zu wenig Wasser und Licht.
