The fabric is made of micro polyester and offers tremendous comfort. The extended piece on the neck can be folded over, which gives an instant cozy feeling. Because of the lack of pressure between rug and manes there is no rubbing. The fabric of the Under Rug is the same as the fabric of our popular Stable Bandage Pads, therefore there is no need to protect the withers and the chest with a BIB. When the extended piece isn’t folded it can serve its purpose as an extra layer of warmth for the neck. The Under Rug can be washed in the washing machine at 30°.
