This superfine Merino wool sliver is an undyed carded fiber prepared for spinning, wet felting, and needle felting. With a fine micron count of approximately 19 microns, it offers exceptional softness suitable for next-to-skin yarns and textiles.

Carded sliver is produced by gently opening and aligning fibers into a continuous airy bundle. This preparation traps air, giving spun yarns loft and warmth while also allowing the fibers to felt quickly for both wet and needle felting projects.

Because the fiber is undyed natural wool, it also provides an excellent base for hand dyeing. The light cream color accepts dye evenly, making it suitable for custom colorways, gradients, and blending with other fibers.
