Fragrance profile: Deeply saturated fruity-sweet and apple-green notes, with spicyness. 

Properties: Cooling, soothing, relaxing, harmonizing

Actions: Regulate the Qi, clear heat and calm the Mind

Complementary blending: Yarrow, German camomile, Roman camomile, Helichrysum, Rosewood, Geranium, Palmarosa, Bergamot, Green mandarin.

Topical use: In 1% dilution for any acute skin irritation, redness, heat, itching and so on (including insect stings and bites); for soft tissue injury and pain in general.

Note: This oils gets its name from its deep cobalt blue color, not from its flowers – which are yellow, not blue.

Caution: Blue tansy oil is commonly adulterated with other oils such as Yarrow, White mugwort and Moroccan wild camomile.
