The Vello M42 Mount Lens to Canon EOS Camera Adapter allows you to attach an M42 mount lens to a Canon EOS camera body. The all-metal adapter is designed to fit the lens securely, yet can still be removed easily when not needed.
Automatic aperture and AE metering will be disabled by the lens adapter as there will be no electrical communication between camera body and lens. You will need to set exposures manually or meter in aperture priority mode. If the lens does not have a manual aperture collar, the aperture will be stopped down to its smallest f/stop. The lens will retain its ability to focus to infinity.
