Hand crafted fountain pen in the Reduction model made from Gem Bronze.

Gem Bronze is a custom bronze alloy created and patented by Mike's Metalworking. This material is currently only available from one maker worldwide, and we are the first to use it for making pens.

The surface finish shows the natural grain structure of the bronze as revealed by an acid etch. 

Due to the casting process used for making this material, there may be small surface defects (inclusions) on the finished product, but these will not affect the performance of the pen.

Please note that, due to the nature of the material, this pen will continue to develop a patina over time. If a patina is not desired, a coat of beeswax will help to maintain a freshly etched appearance.

Each fountain pen will come with a tuned JoWo #6 nib, a Schmidt K5 converter, and a Bello Leather pen sleeve. 

This pen is also compatible with international size cartridges.
