The WM230 is a purpose-built wall mount bracket from Bluesound (Pickering, Ontario, Canada), available at Vinyl Sound in Toronto, Canada. Custom-made to fit the Pulse M wireless streaming speaker, the WM230 is precision-engineered from high-grade materials to perfectly match the Pulse M's elliptical form, securing it to any wall while a 180-degree total swivel range allows the speaker to be rotated and locked at the optimal angle for its Omni-Hybrid driver dispersion pattern. Keyhole mounting slots provide flexible and precise placement on the wall without the need for additional tools once the anchor points are set, and the bracket design keeps all cable connections on the Pulse M fully accessible after installation — no disconnecting or recabling required when adjusting the speaker's angle. Available in black and white satin finishes to match the Pulse M's colour options.

Key Features

  • Custom-Made for the Bluesound Pulse M: Precision-engineered to fit the Pulse M's elliptical cabinet exactly, providing secure and stable wall support without improvised hardware or universal bracket adaptors.
  • 180-Degree Total Swivel Control: Full half-circle horizontal rotation allows the Pulse M to be aimed and locked in any direction after mounting — particularly useful for the Pulse M's Omni-Hybrid driver design, which can be optimised for room coverage by adjusting the orientation of the offset tweeters.
  • Keyhole Slots for Flexible Placement: Keyhole mounting slots allow precise positioning on the wall and simple engagement of the bracket without requiring access behind the speaker once the anchor points are in place.
  • Full Cable Access After Installation: The WM230's design maintains unobstructed access to all Pulse M connection ports — analogue input, optical input, USB, Ethernet, and power — after the speaker is mounted and without requiring the bracket to be removed.
  • High-Grade Materials: Precision construction in materials matched to the quality and aesthetic of the Pulse M speaker for a cohesive, professional-looking wall installation.
  • Black and White Satin Finishes: Available in both finishes to match the Pulse M's satin black and satin white colour options for a visually integrated wall installation.
  • Compact and Lightweight: At 151 x 137 x 60mm and 0.64kg, the WM230 is unobtrusive and light enough for standard domestic wall installation without specialist fixings in most environments.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Bluesound WM230?

The Bluesound WM230 is a purpose-built wall mount bracket custom-made for the Bluesound Pulse M wireless streaming speaker. It provides 180 degrees of total swivel control for precise speaker direction after mounting, uses keyhole slots for flexible and exact wall placement, maintains full access to all Pulse M cable connections after installation, and is available in black and white satin finishes to match the Pulse M. It measures 151 x 137 x 60mm and weighs 0.64kg.

Is the WM230 compatible with any other Bluesound speakers?

No. The WM230 is custom-made specifically for the Bluesound Pulse M's elliptical cabinet and is not interchangeable with other Bluesound speaker models. Bluesound offers the WM200 for the Pulse, Pulse 2, Pulse 2i, Pulse Mini, and Pulse Mini 2i, and the Pulse Flex 2i uses a different optional wall mount solution. Always match the wall mount model to the specific speaker for secure fitment.

Why does the Pulse M benefit from a wall mount with 180-degree swivel?

The Pulse M's Omni-Hybrid driver design — with an upfiring woofer, acoustic reflector, and two tweeters offset at 45 degrees — disperses sound in all directions. However, the angular position of the tweeters relative to the primary listening area still influences the character and balance of the soundstage. The WM230's 180-degree swivel allows the Pulse M to be rotated and locked so the tweeter array faces the optimal direction after mounting, without the constraint of a fixed-angle bracket.

Can I still connect cables to the Pulse M after mounting it with the WM230?

Yes. The WM230 is specifically designed to maintain unobstructed access to all Pulse M connection ports — including the combo mini-TosLink optical and 3.5mm analogue input, USB Type-A port, 3.5mm headphone output, Gigabit Ethernet port, and power input — after the speaker is mounted on the wall and without requiring the bracket to be dismounted.

Does the WM230 include wall fixings?

The WM230 uses keyhole mounting slots for wall installation. Appropriate wall fixings — screws and wall plugs or toggle bolts depending on wall construction — should be selected based on the specific wall material at the installation point. Vinyl Sound can advise on suitable fixings for plasterboard, masonry, and timber stud wall types.

Where can I buy the Bluesound WM230 wall mount in Toronto, Canada?

The Bluesound WM230 Pulse M Wall Mount Bracket is available at Vinyl Sound in Toronto, Canada. A good birds-eye view book.
Format: Paperback
I own the print version of this book, and am using it to teach a high school class on Godot. What I like: it's accessible and descriptive. The explanations in the later book of why the author is doing something are pretty good. They are written in plain English and most of the reasoning for why some things are being done are explained. What I don't like: the print quality *is* dark, but I'm not sure what you can do about that given that most of Godot is using a dark UI and the book is in black and white. I found it legible, most of the time, but there were moments I had to decipher it from context. Also, I think the initial scripting section is light on details and almost pointless from an educational standpoint. It shows the reader what is going on in normal GDScript, but does not take them through any exercises. The programming aspect of the book is better explained in later chapters, but I think for true beginners the scripting section should be reworked. Overall, I will use it but will supplement it for students. For personal use: if you have basic Godot knowledge this will probably not add too much to your abilities. If you are new to gamedev this is a good way to pick up the flow quickly, even though there is not a lot of depth.

Very poor print quality
Format: Paperback
The contrast is so low on the images that in many cases they are nearly illegible. There are many sentences which are similar to "by clicking on the [illegible text/icon] button, you can...". Not helpful. "If you look at Figure 2-14 you can see the output...". No, no I can't. Maybe the eBook version is better, but the print version is very poor quality.

A Must-Read for Anyone Building (or Rebuilding) a Community—from the Ground Up or Within a Studio
Format: Paperback
Mastering Community Management by Victoria Tran is easily one of the most approachable, grounded, and genuinely helpful books I’ve read on the subject. It’s not weighed down by corporate jargon or vague motivational fluff. Instead, it reads like a knowledgeable friend sitting beside you, walking you through what community actually is and what it isn’t. As a small indie developer trying to revitalize my own brand and reconnect with my community after a long absence, this book hit at exactly the right time. It gave me not only strategies, but the right questions to ask myself about the kind of experience I want to create. Too many resources focus on surface-level tactics—Victoria goes deeper. She invites you to reflect on your values, your voice, and your long-term goals, then gives you tools to act on them. One of the strongest aspects of this book is how clearly it distinguishes community management from marketing, social media, PR, and other often-blurred roles. If you’ve ever struggled to explain the value of community work to stakeholders or collaborators, this book gives you the language, examples, and frameworks to make your case with clarity and confidence. It’s also deeply aware of the wide range of contexts in which community work happens. Tran never assumes you're working with a massive team or unlimited resources. Whether you're part of a AAA studio, a two-person indie dev team, a hobbyist group, or something in between, the book respects those differences and offers flexible, practical guidance that can be scaled or remixed to fit your needs. The book is packed with real-world examples and thoughtful exercises that walk you through both practical strategies and big-picture thinking. You’re not just handed advice—you’re invited to work through your own approach using templates, prompts, and reflection activities that are grounded in real experience. Every chapter is dense with insights that are critical for new developers and also thought-provoking for those who’ve been in the industry a while. And while the book is focused on video game communities, its frameworks feel highly adaptable. As someone also working in the tabletop space, I found that many of the ideas translated beautifully—especially in a field where so much success is driven by small, tight-knit communities and word-of-mouth engagement. For those of us wearing multiple hats—dev, marketer, moderator, cheerleader—this is the kind of resource you’ll return to again and again. Whether you're just starting out or trying to rebuild trust and engagement, Mastering Community Management provides clarity and care in equal measure. It’s clear, it’s kind, and it’s deeply useful. Buy it for yourself, your team, and anyone who still thinks community is “just Discord.”
