Lew's designed this one as a true all-water reel. Run it on the flats for redfish and trout in the morning, then pitch jigs to largemouth that afternoon. The rigid one-piece aluminum frame and corrosion-treated internals stand up to salt, while C45 carbon side plates and a carbon drag star keep the whole reel down to 5.6 ounces so your wrist still works at the end of the day. The compact 150-size deep spool holds 125 yards of 12-pound fluorocarbon or 30-pound braid, and the knurled, non-ported aluminum spool stops braid from slipping and keeps water out of the spool.

Casting is handled by the ParaMag RX magnetic system, which makes small, precise braking adjustments so you can lean into a cast without paying for it in backlash. Underneath, Hamai CNC-machined aluminum Speed Gears ride on a bearing-supported P2 Super Pinion for tight alignment and long gear life under heavy drag.
