Description

GoWesty OEM Replica Alloy Wheel Bundle [Bus/Vanagon]These GoWesty wheels are based on the original VW German made 14" x 6 aluminum alloy wheel that was a factory option for the Vanagon. After years of requests from the community, we are thrilled to offer these superb quality, high pressure die cast (HPDC) aluminum alloy wheels (which also work for the 1971 79 Bus models!). We reproduced every detail of this iconic design, right down to the original Volkswagen Diamond Metallic Silver (L97A) paint code!

These GoWesty wheels are based on the original VW German-made 14" x 6” aluminum alloy wheel that was a factory option for the Vanagon. After years of requests from the community, we are thrilled to offer these superb quality, high-pressure die cast (HPDC) aluminum alloy wheels (which also work for the 1971-79 Bus models!).

We reproduced every detail of this iconic design, right down to the original Volkswagen Diamond Metallic Silver (L97A) paint code! They have the correct bolt pattern and 23mm offset (“ET”) to mount without any modifications to your Bus or Vanagon, and they are properly load-rated at over 1800 lbs each—more than enough to handle the most heavily loaded vehicle. No special hardware, wheel spacers, or adaptors are required. Our GoWesty wheels bolt on exactly the same as the original German 14” alloy wheel, and fit all front bigger brake systems.

Simply put: The same iconic design, but scaled up in sizes to accept readily available, modern, and more cost-effective tire sizes!

Manufactured in three modern sizes: 15x7, 16x7.5 and 17x7.5

Available in classic silver or modern black to suit your van's style!

Fits (see Fit Notes tab for more info):
• 1971-79 Type II Bus
• 1980-91 2WD Vanagon*
• 1986-91 4WD Vanagon

Wheel package includes:
• 4 or 5 wheels
• Custom GoWesty Edition center caps
• Full set (20 pieces) of all-new black wheel nuts*

*Important mounting hardware note :
This wheel package comes with twenty (20) wheel nuts. If you have a 2WD Vanagon with original brakes (rotor with integral hub) that uses wheel bolts on the front, you will need to purchase our 44mm Threaded Wheel Stud Set. Sold separately.

Wheel weights: 15" (18.9lb), 16" (21.85), 17" (24.5lb)

Fit Notes

Tire sizes: For 2WD Vanagons, we recommend 215/65-15 for the 15” wheel, 215/60-16 for the 16” wheel, and 215/55-17 for the 17” wheel. These three tire sizes are very close in diameter to the original 205/70-14 size that came on them originally and, in our experience, fit and look best for most applications. We do not recommend running a smaller diameter tire under any circumstances. You can run a larger diameter, wider or narrower width depending on your application and uses for the vehicle—have that discussion with your tire supplier and make the choice that best fits your vehicle/needs.

Lowered (factory or custom) Vanagons (front only) and all Buses (front and rear): It is possible for the front tire to snag the fender lip on tight turns—while entering a driveway, for example. On Buses, the fit in the rear can be very tight, as well. Slight modification (like “rolling” the fender lip), and/or being careful under these under certain conditions, may be required. They fit great, handle on the highway like a dream, and look superb—no doubt about that!

Torque specs: Please torque the fasteners to 95 ft-lbs.

Spare Tire

Spare wheel and tire options:

1) Continue to use your existing 14” spare wheel and tire—just be sure to use the hardware for that wheel, not the new hardware provided with these wheels. Note: Your original 14” wheel will not fit over our GoWesty Bigger front brakes or our GoWesty rear disc brakes! A 15” wheel or larger is required.

2) Purchase (1) 15x7 wheel and mount a 195/60-15 tire on it—this will fit in your original spare wheel location and fit original or our larger brakes.

3) Purchase (1) extra wheel of the same size you are installing on the vehicle, mount the same size tire on it, and carry it on the rear with one of our Universal Carriers! Note: This is the only option if you have a Syncro without a driveshaft decoupler, in which case all four tires on the ground must be close to the same diameter to avoid binding and potential transaxle damage.

It's a good product but not quite a grand slam..
Color: Black, Style: Wireless, Pattern Name: Mouse
I've tried 15+ different mice in the last few years. It would be a bigger number if I wanted to collect them, but I mainly just try to buy the best small to medium-ish ultralight mice in search of my endgame. Won't buy a mouse without seeing reviews first anymore. However, I did main the old wired G502 for a long time before I became a snob. I still like the G502 shape, scroll wheel, and button layout very much despite the fact that it's not going to help me get high scores in aim trainers. The disadvantages caused by the weight and shape are somewhat, but not totally, made up for by the added functionality of the extra buttons, which are also fantastic for productivity. This is an overall solid product with only a few minor flaws that kept me from giving it a perfect score. The good: 1. Weight is noticeably reduced compared to the wired version. 2. The button layout every G502 fan fawns over is now on a wireless mouse. And it's genuinely a great button layout. 3. It's wireless, obviously. 4. Top-tier sensor. 5. Excellent battery life. 6. Infinite scroll wheel go brrrrr The bad: 1. Standard black teflon mouse feet. Not the worst I've seen, but Logitech does have a reputation for putting sh*tty feet on great mice. They at least improved this on the Superlight, but even those were still too thin. These aren't bad, but they could be better. 2. Click feel is substantially worse compared to the old G502. Switches are clearly not the same. Honestly would've been tempted to give this mouse 5 stars if it weren't for the clicks. They aren't heavy and ultra tactile like they were before. They're light and standard-feeling now, which isn't a deal-breaker by any stretch, but it's disappointing. 3. Price. You have to get this thing for less than $100 or it simply isn't worth it. It's a step up from the wired G502 but not to the point of it being worth 3 times as much. Even at a $95 sale price, that's still pushing it. Summary: you're sacrificing click feel and money to improve weight, obtain a nicer scroll wheel, and rid yourself of the atrocity that is the original G502 cable. You're also getting great battery life and excellent, low-latency wireless tech. It's a good mouse, but it's hard to say it's worth triple the amount of its predecessor, especially if you can replace mouse cables. Do not pay more than $100 for this mouse.

The best mouse is the best mouse
Color: Black, Style: Wireless, Pattern Name: Mouse
I've used the wired in the past and it was my favorite mouse and after using an ASUS wireless mouse for the last 2 years I decided to go back to the Logi G502 only the wireless version this time. Connectivity is great. Disappointed that it doesn't use USB-C to charge the mouse itself, but whatever. This thing is so great and more comfortable than the last mouse I was using. That's a win All I'm saying is it's great to have this mouse again because it's hard to argue that this is the best mouse for gaming. I can't comment on battery life as I just received it but from the rest of the reviews, its has great battery life. But upon immediate use, I just can't recommend this mouse enough!!!

Dependable, Reliable
Size: 1 Pack, Style: USB Receiver, Color: Swift Grey, Size: 1 Pack, Style: USB Receiver, Color: Swift Grey
As advertised. Logitech, best mouse for your hard-earned cheddar! It’s not that the (years) old Logitech mouse failed in any operational way, it just got that gummy, sticky surface texture that’s impossible to remove. While shopping for a replacement I noticed an off-brand mouse/keyboard combo and thought, “hey, 2 for 1”…mistake. All was well for about three weeks, long enough that when the gremlins arrived I didn’t immediately associate the new hardware. For the purposes of this discussion, gentle reader, know that I run legacy (what I affectionately refer to as, “Lazarus”) builds. Rigs that started life running Windows Vista/7, died, and that now, resurrected, run 10 and 11, and all that that implies. So, when a mouse started stuttering, of course I thought it was a gremlin in the machine, right? I spent more days than I am comfortable sharing with you pouring over processes and background apps, and registry trims…before Accam’s Razor suggested I eliminate the mouse as a variable. Changing the battery was ineffective, but when I swapped in the ooold Logitech…Yahtzee/Bingo/Booyah…smooth and precise…butter! All I needed was a new Logitech mouse. So, if you’re here you likely are having mouse issues of your own, or you just need one that works…this is it! 😉

Hey, it works well. Just plug it in and you are ready to go. Only issue, minor, no light or color coding on back to indicate on or off.
