The Rekker Legend 1 features an anatomical fit with Sherwood’s new Anatomically Isolated Zone (AIZ) protection system in the calf creating 360 degree protection whether moving at full speed or making quick cuts.
Viconic Impact Protection (VIP) design is found in key impact areas at the knee joint and shot blocker, which is an ultra-resilient material designed to withstand repeated impacts and let you keep battling in tough areas.
At the removable thigh guard, a Customizable Impact Protection (CIP) design provides a customizable, adaptable fit and protection level.
At the base, Sherwood’s I/O Guard design allows for adjustment based on if the player plays with the skate tongue in or out of the pad. It reduces abrasion when the tongue is in; while when the tongue is out the liner is removed from the pocket and the liner goes directly against the leg.
Finally, a COP-r29 anti-microbial liner reduces bacteria and microbes to combat odor.

As tweed Herringbone vests go, this is rather nice and fits well. I'm 5'10", medium build and the Large fit nicely. I ordered it to go with my Oktoberfest Lederhosen outfit (worn to Oktoberfest in Munich), and it worked well. It'll also work with jeans. It's not some high quality piece, but for the price, appears more expensive than what it costs.

Nice Qualtiy for the Money

I originally ordered this vest in XL based on other reviewers' suggestions to up size, but I returned it for a large. Vests should fit snugly and not be loose. I'm 5"9" and 175lbs and the large was a good fit for me. The material is not as heavy as I expected based on the photos but it is not flimsy. It is well constructed with a nice liner. For the money it is a really nice item. I have nicer vests but then they cost several times what this one did. Overall, I am very happy with it.

Not terrible for the price. Not super high quality.

Not bad for the price. Fits a size smaller. I can wear it standing up, but need to unbutton it to sit down. I have very little faith in the buttons. The sewing looks rushed. I may cut them off and replace them. Brown buttons with a black vest? Odd choice. Not sure what the half moon pocket is for next to the button holes.
