Formation & Characteristics
Phantom Quartz forms when trace minerals or radiation create internal phantom outlines during crystal growth. This Phantom Quartz contains lodolite-type inclusions with Chloride and Iron contributing color variation. The color range can include mossy green, pink, black, brown, or grey depending on mineral content and transparency. The specimen presents a polished, free-form point with visible phantom patterns aligned with the crystal surfaces. It shows natural cavities on the exterior surface. An information card accompanies the piece, outlining the name and metaphysical properties. The Minas Geras region of Brazil is cited as the origin.
