300g thermobonded fill is cleverly quilted to concentrate fill density over your horse’s topline, protecting the major shoulder, back and hind quarter muscle groups with cosy warmth. A double layer of fill extends further, to wrap over the horse’s sides, while a single layer down to the hemline gives the benefit of reduced bulk.
The heavy-duty 1680 Denier ballistic weave waterproof outer shell is custom-made and cut full width to eliminate leaks. Its silky antibacterial, antistatic lining efficiently balances across your horse’s back for self-righting in any weather.
Traditional rugs, which wrap around the horse’s body, create tension around the shoulder and hind legs, which is restrictive and can cause rubbing. The globally patented two-part skirt breaks the tension, allowing free movement while holding warmth and shielding your horse's body from splashes. Elasticated gussets allow the shoulder to move freely while the elastic hugs the horse's contours to prevent warm air from escaping.
A design-registered angled 45° T-bar front closure backed by durable hook and loop tape delivers a snug yet pressure-free fit around the shoulder to allow free movement and prevent rubbing.
The padded front neck folds down for extra water protection and grazing comfort. Under the belly, adjustable crossed surcingles and a removable central strap reliably defend your horse from bad weather.
