These three unassuming little parts perform a very important task. They ensure every little bit of precious cool air is directed through the radiator as opposed to flowing unused around it. The original baffles were made of moisture-absorbing cardboard, and they had a tendency to disintegrate over time, thus allowing valuable cooling potential to go to waste. Compounding the issue of VW's poor material choice was the fact that, for a long time now, one couldn't even get the crummy originals to replace failing or missing ones! The formerly no-longer-available radiator baffles are back, and they're better than ever. We teamed up with an industry-leading TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) manufacturer to craft a product that is both eco-friendly and durable enough to last a lifetime. These baffles are made from 100% recycled materials, and the manufacturing process enables almost 99% of production waste material to be recycled back into the process. Better yet, these baffles are manufactured right here in the U.S.A.
