Revamped and upgraded, the SPUR Tropical features a unique X-Frame system that facilitates maximum airflow, evaporation, and climate control in hot environments during intense physical exertion. The X-Frame is engineered to efficiently distribute the pack load onto the hips and small of the back, reducing strain. Additionally, the frame includes removable shoulder straps with Airmesh padding, along with a waist strap and Airmesh padding equipped with a pocket for stowing away the waist straps when not in use.

With its spacious 34L (2075 ci) main storage compartment, the pack offers ample room for mission essentials such as radios, batteries, MOE tools, or overnight/ECW gear. This compartment also houses three zippered mesh pockets and a hydration sleeve with a hanger designed specifically for a 3Lbladder. Furthermore, two covered ports on top of the pack enable convenient hydration and cable routing.

The second 8.29L (505 ci) compartment provides additional space for clothing items, panel markers, etc., featuring two more mesh zippered pockets ideal for storing smaller essentials like strobes and cyalume.

For easy access to smaller items such as notebooks, maps, snacks, or darts; there’s a front flat zippered pocket.

On the exterior of the pack are four large 3.38L (206 ci) pockets perfectly sized to accommodate issue ration packs, 1L flasks, and similarly sized objects. An opening behind these pockets allows for storage of longer items (as pictured with scope tripod).
