Hundreds of miles from the Shire, Frodo Baggins stands at the water’s edge, gazing west. His thoughts turned inward, Frodo does not hear the sounds of battle among the trees on the slopes behind him, where his friends fight to buy his escape from the relentless Uruk-hai. Only now, in the heavy stillness of this strange place, so far from home, does he understand how truly alone he is.
In a world of magic, monsters, wizards, and elves, Frodo may seem like a small and insignificant existence. Yet, by following his journey, we learn of his true strength and the potential for greatness inside the smallest of creatures.
