The IR SYS30 SoundPlus® T3 PoE System from Williams AV combines the advanced T3 medium-area infrared transmitter with a power-over-Ethernet (PoE) kit, making power delivery effortless and efficient. Featuring cutting-edge LED technology, the two-channel T3 transmitter provides stronger and more reliable audio signals, delivering broader coverage compared to previous models.
Perfect for spaces that require precise audio coverage without signal spillover into adjacent rooms, the T3 system offers comprehensive coverage of up to 32,000 sq ft (2,972 sq m). This versatile system includes the T3 transmitter, handheld receivers, headphones, neckloop, charger, mounting bracket, and an ADA-compliant wall plaque, ensuring accessibility and clear audio for all users.
The included PoE kit simplifies installation with a cable assembly that provides direct power supply wiring and easy connection to a network switch. Ideal for both commercial and professional environments, the SoundPlus® T3 PoE System ensures seamless audio transmission with minimal setup, making it the perfect solution for your audio and assistive listening needs.

How It Works
The IR T3 can be controlled remotely via RS-232 commands. The commands include:
- Powering the unit on/off
- Remotely setting the IR frequency (2.3/2.8 or 3.3/3.8)
- Muting the outgoing audio without powering off
- Turning back panel LEDs on or off
- Troubleshooting abilities
